I use to use one years ago to edit my pics, even had a side business editing photos but lost my copy when my hard drive crashed and since it was a download someone sent me of theirs in a zipfile so I couldn't reinstall it. Now I want to buy a copy but can't for a the life of me remember which one it was. I know I loved one but didn't like the other but which?
If you have either which one do you like better? Need something more advanced than Gimp etc. DDs want to learn photo and video editing too so we'll work it into a home school courses.

Well I figured out Photoshop is what I use to have. PaintshopPro is the one I didn't like but I don't want to pay a monthly fee for photoshop and buying it outright is just not gonna happen. From the looks of it they've done a lot of improvements on PSP and now there workarounds so you can convert the free PS brushes into PSP brushes and download them into the program. Not quite sure how that works yet, will have to look more into it. Since PaintshopPro X9 Ultimate version is on sale on the website 50% off for $49.99 with a free bonus brush starter pack, I think I'm gonna go ahead and snag it. That makes the ultimate cheaper than the standard version. If anyone else is interested, looks like it's on sale until the 15th of May. www.paintshoppro.com/en/special-offers/

I have the monthly plan for Photoshop. It's worth the $9.99/mo and it's deductible.

Ack well I already bought PSP, it's downloading now, hopefully it's not too crappy. I remember I really hated it before, it was so clunky to use compared to PS. If I can figure out how to convert the free brushes and stuff it may be ok and if they've improved the layout. Everything was so hard to find. Probably should have done a free 30 day trial before I bought it, oh well, little late now LOL
