My printer died. It was rather cheap, so I'm not too surprised or upset. I can now afford a better one, but unsure as to what to buy. I spent under $100 for this one and would be willing to fork out $200 - $300. If anyone would like to chime in on a suggestion/recommendation, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!!

I have an HP Officejet 6600 that has print, fax, scan, copy, web. It's wireless. I think I bought it at Staples about 2 years ago.
The only issue I've had with it is that every so often it will automatically run a check on itself, usually when I'm in the middle of printing Ebay labels! Takes about 5 minutes but when you want to get those labels done it seems like hours!

I have an Epson Workforce that is ok & the price was nice. I buy generic ink super cheap for it on Amazon.
However, I will say that the print quality is not as good as the HP that it replaced. Not a huge difference - but I can tell.

Canon has some nice wireless all-in-ones that are under $100.00 and their ink is cheaper than most other brands, too. Although, I buy off brand ink for even cheaper

If you print a lot, I would buy a laser printer. It saves a ton over buying ink.

I have had a laser printer for years and have had to buy ink once.
Bought it from Walmart and don't remember how much it was but it couldn't have been too pricey because I am notoriously cheap.

We just bought a Canon MX920. Some of the Canon ratings have tanked.

I like my HP Officejet Pro 8610. It was on sale at Staples and I get the ink with the Staples rewards programs at a slightly cheaper price.

Thanks, all. I decided to go with an HP. I think I had that brand a few years ago. Then I switched to Canon for the last 2 printers I bought. The "Instant Ink" program HP offers sold me on this brand. I got the Officejet Pro 6830 at Staples and it was on sale. So far, so good! Thanks for all the suggestions.

Glad you got an HP. The sales lady at HP suggested the brand since HP has a lot of ink promos.
