I am trying to modify my TOS that I have as a template on the SYI form. A while back I got great advice on how to type what I wanted on the standard tab and then click on the html tab to copy it and paste it into the template HTML area. That way my font, color, etc. showed up. So tried that today, but the underlining (for my hyperlink to my store items) wouldn't quit underlining. I click on the underline symbol on the standard view, and it won't even go away there. So I thought if someone knows HTML, I could get help on how to modify the HTML to make it stop. As I was messing with it, it underlined more than the hyperlink, so right now the underlining starts with "Find" and I want it to just start at "other" and end after "items" (so "other great items" would be underlined and hopefully have the hyperlink, since I had to copy and paste it from another listing. Here's the HTML:
I ship 5 business days per week with no shipping on Saturday or Sunday. <br><br><font color="#FB0034">Combined shipping: </font></font></font></font><u><font color="#000000"><font color="#FB0034"><font color="#000000"><font color="#FB0034"><font color="#000000">Find </font></font></font></font></font></u></b></font><font color="#FB0034" size="2"><b><u><font color="#000000"><font color="#FB0034"><font color="#000000"><font color="#FB0034"><font color="#000000"><font style="font-family:Arial" size="4"><font face="Arial" size="2"><font color="#000000"><a href="http://search.ebay.com/?sass=somanystoressolittletime2007&ht=-1" target="_blank">other great items<font color="#000000"> in my store, and I am happy to combine shipping. Please use the ebay shopping cart to collect the items you wish to purchase, click on "Proceed to Checkout, and then use the "Request Total from Seller" located above the items you have selected. </font></a></font></font></font></font></font></font></font></font></u><font color="#000000"><font color="#FB0034"><font color="#000000"><font color="#FB0034"><font color="#000000"><font style="font-family:Arial" size="4"><font face="Arial" size="2"><strong><font color="#000000"><a href="http://search.ebay.com/?sass=somanystoressolittletime2007&ht=-1" target="_blank"><br></a></font></strong></font></font></font></font></font></font></font></b></font></font></font></font>
Thanks in advance!

There are a ton of formatting issues, including LOTS of font tags. Give me a few and I'll work on this.
ETA: There are so many <font> tags that I'm confused! But I'll figure it out.

Ok. Let me clarify what I'm seeing and what you want. Is this what you want it to look like:
Combined shipping: Find other great items in my store, and I am happy to combine shipping. Please use the ebay shopping cart to collect the items you wish to purchase, click on "Proceed to Checkout" and then use the "Request Total from Seller" located above the items you have selected.
If not, let me know what you want changed. I can easily fix this, just need to know what you want it to look like; colors, etc.

I have it set to Font Size 3. You can make it bigger or smaller (see bolded) just change the number. I have it set to open your store main page in the link. I didn't do bold on the whole things, but used bold to stress the points they should know. I extended the link to include 'in my store'. If you want something changed, I can do it I did take a little liberty on a couple of things. <br><br> <b> <font color="#FB0034" face="Arial" size="3">Combined Shipping: </b> <font color="#000000"> Find <a href="http://stores.ebay.com/somanystoressolittletime" target="_blank"><b>other great items in my store</b></a> and I am happy to combine shipping. Jeremy, help again please. I'm such a dufus. I used this for the TOS for BOTH my ID's. Finally dawned on me I am directing listings on both id's to the same store (and I have been updating the TOS as I relist, and since most of my stuff is on 7 or 10 days, I was getting close to being done with it ). I tried bulk edit to find and replace, but it did not fix it (I switched to html editor and tried to replace "http://stores.ebay.com/somanystoressolittletime" target=" with "http://stores.ebay.com/2012plc" target=" . Should I be finding and replacing some other section of the code, do you know? It may not be a code problem, I realize, but thought I'd ask. I hate to have to manually paste the correct TOS for all my listings again.

You should only have to replace the store name if that's all you want to link to.

What you were seeing in somany's first post, Jeremy, is what eBay does to html after an item is listed/relisted a few times. eBay keeps adding and adding and adding html for some weird reason. Somany's use of your html will look like her original post in about 5 relists I bet.

That's why I always code things manually

Even when I enter the html from my original template (text file, copy/paste), ebay STILL adds on after awhile.
No idea why it does that either.

Bulk edit trying to use find and replace doesn't work in html. It's weird because editing Item Description, I can click on "switch to html" and then the same three drop downs are available--edit individually, edit all, or find and replace. I put in a section of the html code, save and submit, but when I go into the listing, it's still directing me to my other store. I'm going to weird out some buyers until I get them all fixed (well, maybe not--buyers are pretty scarce right now).
