Are you talking about the 'Custom alias' option at tinyurl.com ? That lets you rename it to whatever you like (so long as the alias hasn't already been used), like tinyurl.com/VintageSweater ('VintageSweater' = whatever text you choose)

Not sure. I've seen people do it here. They'll post a link but it's one word (or can be and it's a real word no symbols or anything) then you click on that word and it takes you to a web page. Kind of like on ebay when sellers add a "see my other items" or "add me to your favorites". For anywhere, I just want to know how you do it

On the board - use the "Link" button (the one with the little globe) in the "Create Post" editor. A box comes up - the top line says "Text" - put whatever you want to name your link here. The second line is for the actual URL.
