Poop is right - I use it to organize all my photos, not just Ebay stuff.

Whew, you scared me! But I never use the web part of it, so I s/b ok. I'm hopeful that google photos will have more robust editing. Picasa's was adequate, but that's about it.

I'm the same as Zoe. I use it, but not the web part of it.

I don't use any part of it, but I always click on threads with POOP in the title...

I've used picasaweb maybe 2-3 times. It's not setup like photobucket so it's a royal PITA to have your pics there and include 'em in an ebay listing. AFA the abilities of google photos, the tech boards say it stinks, has significantly less capabilities than picasa, specifically mentioned no geotagging and no facial recognition which they liked but I wouldn't know if it bit me in the butt. And I use a version significantly earlier than the one you guys use so it even has less than yours and still works for ebay pics but they stopped supporting it 4-5 years ago. They also complained about having to store all your pics on the cloud instead of on your computer; the Aussie guys have bandwidth issues like I do.

I bit the bullet and just got the Photoshop monthly subscription when the other mac died. Of course, after I did that, I got the other mac back up and running. But the latest version photoshop does a much better job than the years-old version I had. I have to do less editing, so it was a good thing after all. I tried gimp, didn't like it at all. Tried picassa, it was ok but I don't have time to learn a new editing program so the monthly subscription is worth it to me. And I don't have to store pics in the cloud.

I hated the facial recognition & turned it off immediately, it was slow & clunky & slowed down processing. It was also unnecessary, since I used it mainly for Ebay pics & scenics. I guess if I was a 20something that had to IG every pic of me & my friends, that could be an issue. I never used the geotagging. The cloud thing would be an issue for me.
So I guess I'll just keep using Picasa. Easy enough to do. Certainly won't be the only unsupported software I have around here.

I even downloaded the last windows version in case I can't find it later and someone needs it or I wanna try it out; they set that one up so linux can run it under wine.
So I've been using this old unsupported version for 4-5 years. Never any nags or anything like that and no updates and the dang program just works. I've very rarely bought software (linux is free) but I would have bought picasa.
