I've been wondering about this for quite awhile but tonight when I had to rotate almost 200 photos I decided that I'd ask. Why do the photos import in such a haphazard way? I truly don't turn my camera upside down when I take pictures; most of the photos had to be clicked 3 times to get them right side up. Does everybody else's pix seem to tumble into their photo program or wherever you import to? Just curious.... not real important but sure annoys the heck outta me.

I've only had that happen with smartphone photos. Are you using a regular camera?

Yes, I use my Canon Power Shot connected via USB cord to my Apple and import the photos to iPhoto. It's been so long since I've imported them to another program that I don't remember not having this problem.

Sorry, but you lost me at Apple, lol. I know nothing about Macs or iPhoto.
Hopefully, a Mac user will come along and help you out. I think Val uses a Mac.

I take my pics sideways (long side) and once I bring them up in photos, I use Easy Batch Photo and do a bulk rotate clockwise and move them to another folder. Easy Batch is a mac program, dirt cheap and very handy.
