That just shows a list of changed topics since the last visit?

That's one of the things I have been looking for. Then I find something else interesting and go off on a different avenue and then I find something else, and something else, and yada yada yada.

Look at the bottom of the screen when you're on the home page, you should see a guide - I think the folders will have "new" in them to indicate new posts.

Yup, they do, I saw that, but it doesn't appear to be clickable.

Oh, you're talking about the setting on the other site where you can go to whatever is new, period, regardless of where it's posted (I never used that setting). I don't know if this platform does that or not, but I'll look and see this afternoon. PS if anyone wants to look anything up and post back (on anything), the site has a pretty good help forum: support.proboards.com

Yes, that's what I was talking about :-) I was resistant to it at first, at the other board, but once I started using it, I loved it. I will say, for when we get more members in the future, that it was a very popular way to read the board. I'd say at least 1/2 read it that way, if not more. But there is a trade-off, as it keeps people a step removed from the hierarchy of the threads.

Awesome! I was literally just going to ask the same question. That's the way I always read the other forum.

I have been looking to see if there is a way to set up for last posts first on a thread.
I have it that way on the AB and Kevin's Board and am used to it. No biggie but I was just looking for that.

It will take me a while to get used to everything here, but I'm exploring, slowly. (And trying to get to the minimum posts for the secret clubhouse.)

I just noticed something else: There's a little "Participated" button at the top of every page, underneath the logout link. It pops up a window of the last 30 threads you posted in (most recently updated ones listed first). The green NEW button is there as well.

I pinned the "recent link" to my toolbar and I just keep clicking it to see whats new if i'm too far out to use the back button. so if there is bizarre kloset activity, that would be why!
