pyrexandpearls DH picked this up out of the trash. Very good condition. Looks like a lid from a casserole dish or something. Letters are raised. 15.5" from ends of handles. 10" across. 1.5" high. Any ideas what it is from and what to call it? I tried googling it but couldn't find it with the raised letters. Small number along 1 long edge reads 2000. Thanks!

DH didn't dig it out of the garbage can, it was a curb alert on a local FB page for free stuff. Unfortunately the other part wasn't there. What would you list it for? He's thinking auction starting at $225.

I'd personally do a buy it now for around $300. IMO, its better to wait for the right buyer. There is one with bottom that sold for $125 recently BUT that is low imo and their title didn't fully capture the right audience. (IE making sure collectors find it and not people searching for a modern Pyrex roaster)
