He made two mistakes
1. Posh and Mercari do not have consignment or fulfillment models.
2. It takes no longer to use a mannequin than to do flat lay or hanger. It DOES take some practice and attention.
The rest yeah - thredups QA is awful and their listings suck - I can do better as a 'moldy oldies' seller.

Ladies dress pants can ship first class depending on the fabric. Still, he's right in that they aren't making much money off that listing.

Even first class shipping in these days and times is a hit on a low priced item especially if it is going any distance at all.

From where I live to the most populated regions save for California, anything over about 12 ounces is over $6.
