I haven't had one in a long time.
She says: Hi there. The color of the adorable top is more of a darker dusty color. Not the bright baby sky blue color. The sleeves are quite wide too. I saved and saved. Iām sorry but so disappointed. Please help. Kind regards Susie.
I'm so pissed. I gave her a discount & it's a really heavy top. The frosty color is clearly shown in the photos. She opened a SNAD instead of just a Return Request. Do I have any chance of fighting this, these days? Or do I just need to roll over now?

If she filed a SNAD case, you are pretty much done. Ebay is not going to make any color dispute judgements in a seller's favor.
She knew what she was doing when she filed that SNAD. She doesn't like the top for some resason and doesn't want to pay return shipping even if you made an exception and allowed the return. She most likely knows that you can decline a Return Request because the listing is No Returns.

I'm in the same boat with a buyer of childrens ski pants. I listed as water resistent and nylon lined. She filed snad saying they weren't waterproof and not insulated as she expected.
I called eBay and they said I need to accept and inspect when they are returned. Call them & they will take care of it. We will see.
She also said he wore them for 45 minutes. CSR said it doesn't matter.
That was two weeks ago. I just received notice that she mailed them back. So he has been able to wear them during the past two snow storms. They probably won't sell again this season. I plan on calling the minute they arrive. I will let you know what happens.

Well, I just realized she's a seller, so I'm trying to guilt her a bit. I am seriously thinking of buying something from her. I won't, but I'm thinking about it. Yeah, she totally knows what she's doing & the worst part, I'm thinking of letting her keep the item b/c it's so damn heavy, it's not worth me paying to get it back :-( 57roses I'll probably have to make a decision before you get it back, but please do let us know what happens! I won a fake SNAD, but it was 2019.

I have had maybe 3 SNADs and didn't win a one of them. The best I got was complaining on Ebay FB and they refunded my return shipping.
That one was also a seller and like you, I thought about buying something from her becasue she is also No Returns but I didn't or I haven't yet but it has only been a year ago so the jury is still out. She said my measurements were off but I even had pics showing they were correct but it didn't matter. Her fat ass was just too big for the jeans.

I won all my fake snads, but the last one was around 2018 before eBay stopped listening to sellers.

I'm going to give it a shot. I see she also doesn't allow returns & one of her 'blue' tops, looks ivory in her photos, so I'm going to use that as an example to her.
I mean she basically says it's buyer remorse b/c it's not the exact shade of aqua she was expecting. A SNAD is for when you buy red & they send you green.

I just went back & forth with her, for no reason other than I'm pissed & she says she's selling only to pay off her father's funeral expenses. Which could be true, as she only has 8 things listed, but how did she get over 2000 FB then? That's a lot of FB for buyer who had to "save & save" to buy my $27 top.
I probably won't win, but I'm just livid so I'm going to try. I have to call about a VERO anyway, so if I can get someone from that team to look, I may have a chance.

I have a buyer who purchased a red chenille scarf from me in December. She waited one day before the 30-day mark to request a return. I'm no returns so of course she marked it off as not as described, doesn't match photos. She then said the red was a darker red than what she thought it would be, that it didn't match a sweater she wanted to wear it with. I offered her a partial refund because I didn't want the winter scarf back, especially a red fuzzy one. I'm sure that she wore it through the holidays.
She still hasn't responded to the offer, it's still open. I need to call ebay I guess to get it resolved - I was hoping that if she didn't respond by a certain time frame ebay would just close it.

Any chance you bought from her and she is getting even? No, I haven't bought clothes in ages. She only has 8 listings & told me she's only selling to pay off her DH's funeral expenses & I believe her b/c she has so few listings.

They may close it, but you'll still get the SNAD defect...but not the unresolved defect. I had someone who was 'disappointed' in the colour green that her green top was (I think she just didn't like the colour on her but didn't want to pay shipping back - I take returns) so filed not as described. She never sent it back, I called and had it closed but the defect remained, though the case resolved. The returns system on ebay is a hot mess.

Why would you get a defect, if she never followed through? I didn't think it worked that way. Also, how can you tell if you have a defect?

zoesam - I wondered that, too, and investigated. Maybe they've changed it, but just someone OPENING a SNAD lowers you in metrics. You don't get the big ding for unresolved case, but it's reflected as a defect.

Well, it didn't work out. I couldn't get directly to VERO to get a higher level rep, which was really my only chance. The rep I was talking to wanted to txfr me to Escalations, which I knew would not work in my favor. It was a cluster cuz they kept having tech difficulties & losing access to their system, so they kept having to call me back. I knew I wasn't going to win it w/escalations, so I did what was necessary & accepted the return. I decide to force her to return it b/c the $9 was well worth me making it difficult for her LOL.
Here's her ID

zoesam Make sure you report her for misuse of SNAD returns, or whatever they call it. May or may not help keep her on their radar, but I do it every.single.time someone pulls that carp.

Does anyone here have the phone number they used to get ahold of ebay on the phone. All the numbers that I have will not connect me, they say this is the line for fraud, or the line for hacked accounts and then disconnect me when I try to get connected.
I tried to find the link on the ebay pages to have them call me back, but can't find that either.
Thanks!
ETA: OK, I found the link to have ebay call me, it was a maze to go through to get there. They called back within a minute or so. The lady upset me so much because she said that they are refunding my buyer IN FULL for the scarf and she can keep it, they also released me my funds in full, and she said no defect. I asked her why the buyer is getting a refund when she lied about the not as described, it was a color issue in plain writing for them to read, and she never even responded in 30 days to my partial offer.
Total BS - she said that the buyer gets a one-time refund on this type of thing - it's up to ebay to decide not me. Maybe I'll look for something nice to buy from a large seller and try this crap for a full refund/keep the item (J/K). I am sooo pissed off.

I don't think there are any published or known numbers to call Ebay directly these days.
They don't make it easy to find the link to have them call you back either.

Desire - try not to let it get to you - eBay is desperate to keep buyers so the refund is like a publicity stunt, but I think that for your 'buyer' there's no going back to the well. Other sites do the 'just let the buyer keep the widget', as well - I don't approve of it, either, and think it leads to no good in the end.

There have been many times that letting the buyer keep the item makes the most sense but unless I messed up REALLY bad... I just can't.

If it's their fault, it becomes the principle of the thing. IMHO, if you're going to mess with me, you will be inconvenienced by having to return it, negative feedback be damned!

Exactly Sunset. Two of my most recent return requests were never sent back. Both just conveniently changed their minds. I've never been that lucky before and probably wont be again.

Yeah, I approved the return, had no choice really & nothing happened for days, so I thought maybe she wouldn't send back, but then I got the notice it's in the mail. I still want to buy from her & file a SNAD on her. Too bad my name is so memorable, I can't get away with it
