I have used thredup very sparingly for a while now (two small bags over the last 6 months or more), but I went to check a price on their estimated payout feature. That was one of the things that had changed. I couldn't find it using my pc, but I had it on my home screen on my phone and was able to use it there. From there, I saw they are doing a "12 hour bidding window" when your item first goes up. They still give you a chance to adjust your price before the bidding window. Also saw that B&B stuff is only for sale for 60 days while designer stuff still has 90 days. And there is some kind of loyalty program for which I have 20 points. That's probably what they gave everyone to start out with . Didn't look into it further. They probably sent out an email, but I very likely deleted it without reading it.

I don't bother with Thredup at all any more, their payouts for most items is just not worth it.

I stopped for the most part when I figured out how use of a coupon affected the seller substantially more than it affected Thredup. That’s not a problem at lower prices items, so I have sent lower ticket items that either didn’t sell for me or I didn’t want to take the time to list. And then I take the payout that they offer even though it is ridiculously low. I still have a ton of backlog (not listing enough on a sustained basis to feel like I am making enough progress, although I have managed to clear the stuff from my living area so there is that) so I don’t mind off-loading things that won’t sell for much.

I can get a better write-off on taxes than I do with thred-up or I'd send my stuff in. When I got a pay-out of $20 on a bag of about 22 items I just decided it wasn't worth it, and I need to offset taxes.
ETA: I have a pile of stuff to get rid of, though - its listed but has been sitting around for 2 years - not worth cluttering the basement with it. I tried Buffalo Exchange and got $10 ROFL, I wish I'd just donated. I wish I could find a place that would take vintage.

I've seen a few in the past. I did, but they're all out of town and the several I contacted haven't got back to me. In town consignments are incredibly snooty - I have to go down to Seattle and then they want to give me a couple of dollars per piece - I can donate for that and save the trouble. The place I could have used in Portland closed because the owner retired. I also can't find the vintage buy/sell groups I was in before FaceBook took my page down - that's the other way I would get rid of it. My next idea is just selling it in lots on Poshmark. I even opened up on Etsy again, not that I expect much to happen. I really am trying to get rid of ths stuff.

I don't have a good local source either. My local consignment shop made changes this year. They now only keep it for sale for 30 days (instead of 90), and then put it in their sale area at 50% off. They periodically lower the 50% sale items to 75% off so if I were shopping for inventory, it would be a great source, but the payouts under that structure don't seem worth it to me to sell anything there. I haven't been in to pick up whatever money I made on the items I dropped off when I learned of the new consignment structure (they had looked at my items and decided what they would take before they put the new consignment agreement in front of me to sign--I should have said never mind, but I was in a purge at whatever cost mode at the time).
I'll keep plugging away with ebay and poshmark with an occasional bag to thredup until it's out of here. I just have to keep myself out of the stores, which I am doing a decent job of. (I thought I had not shopped for a couple of months but I was forgetting a trip that the bag from which had been stuffed into a laundry basket when I was straightening up at some point--oops! But my inventory records only have 3 receipts total for May, June and July including that bag so that's not too bad.)

As above, those out of town (online) that I've contacted have not gotten back to me. The several consignments in town don't pay enough to make it worthwhile hauling the stuff down there.
