@murph or anyone--if you see that thredup indicates something is used but it's NWT, will they investigate and change if you contact them? And if so, do you just contact them through the chat feature? And do they adjust the price and if so, adjust your upfront payout if the do?

They had one of my items listed as Worthington instead of as Worth. I contacted them through chat and they changed it, they added the extra money to my upfront payout. Also, because of their mistake that money was available right away.

And do they adjust the price and if so, adjust your upfront payout if the do? They do it ALL THE TIME. Here's how it works with them, if they find a "flaw" (usually it's imaginary in my experience, some mysterious "light fading" most of the times) they will list it as pre-owned and price it as pre-owned.

They've made mistakes on a few of my things - wrong brand, wrong fiber content, etc. I contacted them by email and they fixed things within 48 hours. I've also asked them why they rejected some of my things and they've been pretty good about giving me detailed info - once even sent a photo of a hole I missed on a sweater.

I have a brand spanking new Holding Horses skirt on there I bought myself from Anthro. Still has the tags. They put "this item still has tags but shows wear". That's the way it was made jackhole! And a Boden sweater they have listed as Bohemian sweater!

Delta, I'd get in touch with them and point out the mistakes. They might fix them.

They used to be great about fixing it if you messaged. Lately it takes them weeks to answer messages! They are going downhill fast with the customer service. I would still give it a try

I've been trying to get another Luxe label sent out for over a week with no response to my e-mails. Decided to ask via online chat and this is the message they have posted -
"Thanks for contacting thredUP support! Our expert team of advisors are working hard to answer all of your messages. Temporarily, our chat hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM PDT. If you already sent us an email or an in app message last week, we'll be responding to you soon! We appreciate your patience and look forward to assisting you soon."
I wonder what happened with their support reps? Makes me nervous to send more stuff in to them.

The last reported infusion of venture capital funding I can find was well over a year ago. It doesn't sound like fees are covering expenses 100%.

I've also noticed that their product photos are getting really bad - stuff jammed on wrong sized mannequins, crooked, twisted, etc. I purchase on the website regularly, though, and so far the shipping (which, like most places, takes a while) and items themselves are fine. I wonder if they're being elbowed around by Swap.Com.

Were you emailing luxeconcierge [at] thredup.com ? I usually get a response within 3 days from that address.

I am unhappy right now because my last Luxe box arrived at their facility April 10th. The label no longer even shows attached to my account. I emailed them and finally heard back from someone that she will look into it.
My concern is that stuff is likely listed and selling and I am not getting credit.
My first 3 Luxe boxes did very well and I sent a regular clean out bag in and it is doing well. They just need to fix this box.

They lost one of my bags, and they paid me out for it. It wasn't a Luxe bag, and I was happy with the payout. I hope they found it or did well by you. I dropped a bag off at the post office on Saturday, and it's not shown up in Thredup's system yet. I didn't think to keep the USPS tracking #, and I didn't have the post office scan it. I won't make that mistake again. The "good" news is it is definitely a cleanout bag of Dunner and GV pants and jeans that I never got listed. I'm trying to reduce inventory and would just be happy to get back what I paid for them. Not going to happen if the post office lost the bag, but at least they are out of my apartment.

The box actually turned up. Finally.
When I first started with Luxe, they told me to drop it at a FedEx store. This one had a label that said USPS so I dropped it there. I guess it is one of the services that starts out FedEx but ends up USPS? This is the only one that had a problem getting there.
I am a bit shocked by what they turned down though. Kept an Eskander dress, returned the shirt.
I have made a good amount of money off the service, so I am not complaining and going to continue to send stuff in to them for now.

I think they switched from FedEx to USPS -- I took one to FedEx a few months ago and they couldn't scan it, said I had to take it to the PO.
The tracking link on TU's site hasn't worked for me lately, so I emailed them to get the tracking number and use the USPS website instead.

I am bumping this because I have a processed box that had 3 NWT items in it and all 3 are listed as used. This combined with the stuff they are rejecting, I thnk they are dong ths on purpose.
Sending them a message now but I am not hopeful.

Let us know how it turns out. I’ve pulled all my stuff from them due to the application of the coupon percent off before applying the consignment payout, which took a sizable amount away from payouts. I wrote them about it but since you can’t really get bumped up to a manager, writing didn’t make a difference as the CSR’s don’t seem to think for themselves—just spit back what they’ve been told. I’m still hopeful they will figure it out and fix it but won’t send anything if any value in until they change it.

I was told that if something had a flaw (they listed 1 dress wth a spot, which I never saw), then it HAS to be listed as used. She did say that one of the dresses was listed as excellent condition so she would check to see if it had tags attached. I am guessing it wont. Who knows where the tag ended up.
