Slow Cooker Honey Balsamic Pork RoastI've made this several times. I've also substituted maple syrup for honey, both ways are good. And I've even changed up the balsamic vinegar, using pomegranite balsamic and fig balsamic. I do cut the water back to 1/2 cup if it's a smaller roast, 1 cup is too much. If you're eating low sodium, replace the soy sauce with worchestershire sauce and double the garlic. I've added fresh chopped onions in place of the onion power too (didn't have any powder on hand).

This is how I make pulled pork.
1 pork shoulder or pork butt salt/pepper brown sugar (half to one cup to taste) 2 onions, sliced 2 cans chipotle peppers in adobo (2 small cans, or one big can) Dr. Pepper (about half a liter)
In a dutch oven, pay the onions on the bottom. Season roast with salt and pepper, lay fat side up on the onions. Sprinkle brown sugar over, dump the cans of chipotles on top, and pour the Dr. Pepper over. Cover and put in a 300 degree oven. Flip roast once an hour. Takes about 7-8 hours. Remove from oven. Meat should be falling apart. I usually take the meat out, and leave the pot out long enough to where I can skim as much grease off as possible. Put pot on a medium high burner and reduce the juices by half. Shred the pork. When juices are reduced, put the shredded meat in. Eat. I like to make sliders with this.
