That seller says it's 'signed' but I don't see any 'signature' in the pics - ask her where it is so you can see if you have one on yours too? I think yours is by the same guy.

Thanks Unknown. I don't see where she claims it to be "signed". She does show pics of stickers and tags though. I looked on the bottom of mine and can find no sign or marks. Thus I am very apprehensive of what I can claim/call my lamp. There are several Jablonski oil lamps listed, they all have the same basic shape and style.....different colors/patterns. It is quite a lovely piece.
"I think yours is by the same guy. " .......... I think so too, but so far, have no way to "prove" it.

It's on the english hangtag. YUP! I have NO handtag or sticker on mine. NOTHING(that I know of) to prove it to be an authentic Jablonski......SO.....The dilemma...........How to list? What do you think?

I think I would ask that other seller where the signature is on hers. 'signed by the artist' does not mean a signature on a hangtag or sticker. If a painting is 'signed by the artist' - on a hangtag? What about a pucci print? The sig is ON the item somewhere. May not look like the way you sign a check, may be like the signatures on bluefish original stuff, a symbol.

This is signed www.ebay.com/itm/252855250751It's sort of a print-y script, polish handwriting is wonky and the pic is upside down to see the sig. No 'scratches' on yours?

Nice prices - but that is odd about the tag saying signed with no signature. I would prolly stick in the description that I thought it was adam jablonsky and maybe point to his website or something.
He patented a few ways of making glass with metal - can you see any filaments in the blown glass?

I am not familiar with that artist, but I do have a lot of glass art & several "oil lamps", to me they're just oil candles & are rather ubiquitous, as I've rec'd many as gifts, blown glass with the oil & wick, so I guess I see them as very different from the ones you linked to, that appear to be historically old actual lamps.
Yours is a very nice piece, but looks to be modern. Anyway, IME, glass art almost always is signed in the bottom of the piece with an etched signature in the glass. All my pieces are still packed, so I can't post a pic, but like Unknown said, it could look even like 'scratches' on the bottom. Sorry I can't be of more help. Hope it brings you much green, as it is gorgeous & many of the blown pieces are actually really thin & a very common style, yours is much cooler!
