My cats tress are disintegrating right before my eyes because my cats are addicted to them. Shirley, we bought these last year around Thanksgiving but I can't remember what we paid for them. Wayfair has them for $68 with free shipping which is cheaper now than Amazon. It seems like we paid around this much or maybe a little less last year. Do you remember? www.wayfair.com/Armarkat-57-Classic-Cat-Tree-in-Ivory-B5701-ATM1021.html

I don't remember exactly what we paid, I think it was a bit more then that. That's a great deal. I've been wanting to get another one and was waiting for a sale. ETA: I just got one. Thanks for posting this, I'm going to have very happy kitties.

The one I got last year is still in good shape, but my other old one (different brand) is getting bald and most of the rope is gone. I'd much rather they shred the tree then the furniture so it was the perfect time to get another one.
If anyone is even thinking about getting a cat tree these are really good ones. VERY sturdy, easy to put together, and this price is really really good as they usually only go on sale this time of year and are full price the rest of the year.

The ones that I am replacing are at least two years old. The ropes are almost gone or are in shreds. The Missy family does give them a workout so I don't mind replacing them because I know they use them.
They are really sturdy. Good sized Daisy takes a run at them and hits the top level in one jump. The tree may rock slightly but stays on it's feet. I have never seen one tip over and it's not because it didn't have good reason to.

Holey Moley, that is the lowest price I have ever seen on those.
Hmmm, do I really need 3 cat trees?

Well, cats sleep like twenty hours a day, and you have about a million cats, so yes...I'd say you do indeed need three. And put them sort of close together so they can leap from one to another! But not too close, you want it to be a bit exciting for them. lol.

Heck no, I would buy a couple of bags of cat treats if I did get one, that would hit the $50 for the free shipping.
The one I just bought from Wayfair is still sitting in the box in my living room. I dont know where I would put another one.

I still have one from last year that I haven't put up yet but I am getting one at that price. I am adding some Capstar to make the free shipping.
I have 2 cat trees in the living room and 2 in the foster bedroom. I think I might try to put one in my bedroom for Kenya and the other to replace the demolished one in the living room.

Loved this in one of the reviews:
Third, it's fun. They play on and around it, sleep on it, use it as a perch to look out the window, and stage recreations of famous historic Cat Battles on it.

It is a great cat tree. I am a satisfied customer of this cat tree.
I have two definitely used trees in the cat pen, two definitely used in the garage for the outside cats, two in the living room, two in the foster bedroom, and now two that will be in boxes until I get them set up.

Darn, I just saw this. They're $59.62 now. My cats are mostly on the large size. I don't know where people find tiny cats. Are these big enough for average to large cats? How hard are they to put together?

That is still a good price.
My cats are lard bottoms and they have not tipped one over yet. Daisy will take a run at it from the floor, spring off the top of the little house to the top shelf. It has rocked once or twice but never tipped over. Daisy is a good size cat. Their favorite parts are the sisal column pieces and they really work them over.
They are not hard to put together at all. they include a little top that works on the screws and directions for what goes where. All the pieces are numbered or lettered so you know what goes where. Just follow the instructions and it is a piece of cake.

Rosegarden - one of my big boys is about 20lbs and he loves the tree and is up on the top of it all the time. And a couple more are in the 13-15lb range and they all get on it at once.
I have one in the cat room, one in the living room and one in a box that will also end up in the living room.
The $59.62 is still a great price. And like Kritter said they are easy to put together.

Amazon is famous for raising and lowering their prices. Don't ever "watch" something you plan to buy in a day or two, they will definitely raise it. They probably saw all the hits on it and thought it was hot so raised it.

At that price, it was "hot". I bet they sold a bunch of them.
Lowest price I have ever seen on that tree.

Current price isn't bad, though. I'd get one if I had extra $ today. I wouldn't mind moving the current tree to one of the bedroom windows and putting a little larger tree by the desk. My current tree is same brand but a size smaller (abt 50" high). Trixie loves the tree and Hootie FINALLY started using it a month or so ago.

Trixie grew up on cat trees.
Once a cat tree lover, always a cat tree lover.

I think she had to teach Hootie how to use it.

If Hootie is lying on the desk blanket and won't make room for her, she gets up in the tree and hangs over and bats him with one of her paws until he gets annoyed and gets off the desk. At which point she leaps over onto the blanket. Sneaky little minx.

Alpha cat always has to lay where other cat is laying.

They seem to alternate as to who is Alpha Cat For The Day. Or it may just be location specific. Hootie rules on the bed, but they seem to waffle as to who rules the desk.

Every time I move boxes and bins at home, Gypsy thinks I've redesigned her whole entire world (which I guess is true) and has to climb and investigate. I want to get her a nice cat tree for Christmas. There are a few cheaper ones that would work nicely for our space that I'm going to look at.

Amazon rocks!
Bought my cat tree with free shipping on Wednesday night and it was on my porch at 6:00 tonight.
Delivered in a driving rain in the dark.
