I love the names they gave all the kittens.
Hallmark does such a good job in bringing awareness of adoptions and their shows are so dang fun to watch.
I can't wait to see all the videos people do of cat olympics this year, cats and the internet are just made for each other.

I think all the kittens they show are from North Shore Animal League or at least they used to be.
North Shore sent an 18 wheeler down here several years ago and took over 300 cats and dogs from rescues and the city shelter back up to their shelter for adoption. It was parked in the mall parking lot at one of the weekend city wide adoption events for monetary donations to finance the trip and then they loaded up all the animals the next Monday and headed back to their shelter.

From the article I read in TVGuide about the show they are still teamed with North Shore. They have adoption events going with them that are timed for when the show will be airing so they should get a lot of adoptions out of that.
More networks should do stuff like this, it gets them lots of viewers and goodwill and it makes such a difference in the animals lives.

It was the North Shore Animal League that took in Scarlett. She was the mama cat who saved her kittens from a fire and was badly burned herself. They were able to save Scarlett and four of her five babies.

I need to take lessons from my cats, especially Simon. He's a places to go - people to see kitty. Always busy doing something. He's a fast walking cat.
