I have a store about 2 blocks away so I will check it out.
That store has a 2 shelf pet section so don't think they are a regular item. If they are an in and out, I bet they are all gone by now.

They aren't at my store. It could be a web only item, but SM doesn't mark web only on their website (yet).

Gosh, they're cheap! It would actually be worth me buying a few and getting them shipped by my mail forwarding company. I've never seen a cat bed for less than $30 here, and they're uggerly ones.

My store had only one of the cute square ones. Larger than I expected, would easily hold two cats. Or a herd of kittens and momkat. Rest of what the store had was the big dog pillows. I think the sale is through today.

Oops, looks like the sale on the website is already over.
All the pet beds are back to regular price.

Guess it was just a Friday/Saturday sale this time then. They've changed their sales schedule and seem to have less frequent sales. My local store is kinda crappy. I find more and better stuff at the PHX stores I hit.

I have noticed that they have less frequent sales too. Not as many coupons as they used to float either.

The best cat bed I ever had was just an oval of fake sheepskin. The sides were only about two inches high. But all the cats loved it, I think because it was exactly the size and shape of a curled-up cat. Because they don't like each other's smells there'd be a race to be first in every time it was freshly washed.
And have I ever been able to find another one? Noooooo. Of course not.
