Sabrina pooped next to the toilet in the hall bathroom last night. She always uses the litter box unless kittens are here so I have no idea what she was thinking. There are no kittens here.
Now, if I can just get her up over the toilet bowl, we would be golden.

Maybe she knows something you don't. Did you check the front porch and the bushes?
I always thought I could have toilet trained Chloe.

My grandmother had a beautiful white long haired cat who...um...threw up...a lot! She taught it to throw up on a newspaper. Poor thing would cry if she "needed" a newspaper and it wasn't on the floor. Nana would whip out a paper so the poor kitty could get on with it.

I wish I could train the Missy family to start barfing on a newspaper.
I would even take out a subscription for the local paper if we could get to that point.

What is it with pets and carpeting?? My house is about 90% ceramic tile and they ALWAYS go for the carpet or the beds!

I think it's because they hang out on carpet and furniture more than on hard floors, so the chance is increased.
I'm just happy if I don't step in it!

I have ceramic tile and hardwood floors everywhere. There are area rugs in all the rooms and in the kitchen I have a few of the small "kitchen rugs" scattered about.
Every time my cat throws up he seems to think he is doing me a favor by walking over to one of the rugs to do it. But at least he makes a horrible wail sound, so if I'm around I can usually catch it by grabbing a newspaper or magazine and placing it on the floor under his mouth.

There was a lady on Shark Tank who had a product to teach cats to potty in the toilet. Citykitty or Citikitty, I guess it works.

I foolishly bought a shaggy area rug for my bedroom. In white. WTH was I thinking?
ETA thank God for Folex and whoever here recommended it (I think Betty). It is a miracle product.

lol, fashion. Any decorating in my house is done with cats in mind. To think I had indoor plants when I first got Bubby! That was a hoot and a half!
And the thing is that each cat does different things, so it's impossible to ever really cat proof.
