Thanks for starting this. I always love these kinds of threads. Just an older Gap jean jacket, but I love the lining: Gap Jean Jacket

I've put them all on my watch list I really like this cardigan. I like looking at it, but it's just not my style. I've put it at auction because I think hope people will bid it up based on looks and not name brand. Southwestern Print Cardigan

Click the green reply button on the top right hand side of the "quick reply" box.
Hit the icon that has the globe with the piece of paper half covering it ((create weblink))
A small pop up box will appear and it will have you enter the name of the link, then the web address for the link.

Stephanie, on that coat, maybe try changing the title?
Instead of:
Gap Double Breasted Pea Coat / Jacket Sz Small EUC
Try:
Gap Sz S Light Blue Belted Double Breasted ((fabric content)) Jacket
Things I see that I would change if it were mine: Title says EUC. I know what it means, but I will venture to guess 99% of the shoppers looking have no idea what EUC is. To me, even tho I know what it means, I see it as "YUK". You have EUC in title, but in the IS, you have very good condition. Add the fabric content Take it out of the "peacoat" IS and add it to "basic jacket"
Maybe fidgeting with all of that will help?
I added it to my watch list also!

I don't know if it's my monitor or not but the jacket looks khaki tan. I find that most of my buyers shop by picture. I can tell based on their questions. You may want a new picture showing the color better. It's a very cute jacket and great for spring if it's blue.

I have very good luck with child's western wear. I don't really think it's a matter of price. Parents seem to love it or hate it. There is not much around like that so if they love it they will pay. I would however, add cowgirl to the title and list it under girls for a while. If that doesn't work you could try boys later. If the fees don't bother you I would list in both boys and girls and leave out the cowgirl. I don't think many parents shop unisex unless it's for a baby.

Cute! I wonder if putting "Easter" or "Easter Theme" in the title would help since it's right around the corner?

I see the appeal but too small for me. I think it is really cute.

I love, love the J Crew heels...if only my size. Children's western clothing always make me smile as it reminds me of one of my favorite words, "buckaroo"!

LOVE that shirt Odyssey! Reminds me of the old Huk-a-Poo shirts from the 70's.

I'm watching everything. Those J Crew heels are GORGEOUS! Heck, I'd buy them just to put on the shelf so I could admire them! Odyssey, the frog shirt is super cute! You might want to add a couple of keywords like "mod", "groovy", "psychedelic", "novelty print" (you get the idea). Here's mine: Tribal lime green short raincoat

Thanks, ahrn, those are great kw's.
BTW, has anyone figured out how the etsy search is based? I noticed there is a ton of room for a title, but then there's also a 'tag' thing where you can enter keywords. I'm not sure which one relates to a buyer's search terms though, does anyone know?

I don't know which counts for more, but I usually put the most obvious/likely-to-be-searched terms in the title, and use the tags for related terms. If I have a glitzy 80s cocktail dress with huge shoulder pads and sequins, I might put "Dynasty" in the title and "Joan Collins", "Alexis", "ladies who lunch" (etc.) in the tags. Also, my understanding is you don't need to use the same words in both places -- so put "70s" in your title, but "1970s" in the tags.
I need to do some more research on this, will let you know what I find out.
