My kitties don't like the kitty beds, but they LOVE the microfleece throws. So I have several folded up around the house and that's where they hang out. Including the one on the left side of my desk (which keeps the kitties from chasing my mouse hand on the right). Have you tried that?

Oh, when Hootie does sleep in his kitty bed (maybe 5-6 times a year), it has to be a square bed. He will not use a round bed. It's too early to tell what Trixie's preference will be (right now she sleeps wherever the nap attack hits).

That silly cat! Nice sewing room set-up though.
Our feral, Mystic, (who went to kitty heaven in October) LOVED the round cat bed. Whenever we would let her in to sleep on our back porch/sunroom, she would make a bee-line right for it. And she curled her body into those curves like it was custom made for her.

I don't know I bought three different types of cat beds for the new kittehs and they both sleep directly on the floor. Today one was sleeping on the floor next to the cat bed. So if you figure out how to get them to use the beds, then post it here.
Oh but they do like the box I got free with the clumping litter.

I put catnip in the bed today and she went in and rolled in it, then came out and layed on my cutting table. I am going to post more photos of my sewing room since I have fans and I love to share. The final sewing table. I made that ironing pad so I didnt have to have an ironing board up all the time. The new machine will go here next week. The old embroidery machine and ancient serger (which still works like a dream!) And my ribbon collection. I dont want to admit but, I have more ribbon in those tubs on the shelf. The cutting table And (some of the) fabric. I havent organized it yet so it is looking messy.

That looks a lot like Olive's sewing room.
Hers also has a TV hanging from the ceiling over a single sleeping area for a quick nap.

I would say I'm jealous, mup, but I think of having all that cool stuff in my house and all I can think about is the dust it will collect.
I gotta move somewhere with rain.

A heads up from Olive to Pepper...
"Oh hi Pepper! It is such a pleasure to meet a fellow sewer!! We share the same hobby!! Although I haven’t done a whole lot lately, not feeling 100% yet. Today was day No. 5 for my meds and I took them a little better today than I have the past 4 days….and tonight I actually hung out in the sewing room with my Mommy, laid right on her sewing chair so she couldn’t sew. he he he!!!
Keep in touch and let me know what projects you are working on. As soon as I feel better I have got to get back to helping my Mommy sew. Good Lord knows she needs all the help I can give her! LOL
Love Your Sewing Friend, Olive ^..^"

Once you are feeling better we can share photos of our projects! I will have to show you how my mommy and I "share: the sewing chair. Really that means I lay on it and she sits on the very edge to sew. It is very comfortable..... for me. Love your new ICNFSWA partner, Pepper

So I had the idea to put my old ironing board cover in the bed to see how it went since she LOVED to lay on the ironing board and sleep. She sat on it. That is progress right?

That, or Pepper is just humoring you.
It could go either way with a cat.

I am going to call this a temporary success. She is laying down and her eyes are closed so that counts as sleeping in it.

Guess who just hopped into her bed and went to sleep! All it cost me was the price of a new cover for my ironing board.
