i thought this was a good idea.  We have a lock on our one gate but the other one is unlocked so the oil guy can make deliveries.

That's a good idea. Our gate broke last year when there were three feet of frozen snow covering it. There's no way to ever straighten it out. Now we just have a bungie cord wrapped around it and when Pogo goes out at night alone, he COULD squeeze out. Thanks, I'll look in to that lock.
