Kritter, that last pic made me laugh out loud for a good long time.

Sadly, I actually do consider arranging birthday treats like this for my cats.

Petti, the Missy family wants to come and live at your house. You are such a good cat mom.

The current favorite toy in my house involves a crumpled ball of aluminum foil and a large paper shopping bag (with the handles cut so that excited participants don't get them caught around their necks!)

Lucy is the only one here that makes a career out of playing with toys. She likes the krinkle balls the best or small rubber balls with rubber spikes that look like jacks.
She brings them to me to throw and then will go hunt them down and bring them back. All the rubber balls are now under the couch so she is done with fetch until I move the couch and roll them out.

Or until you get a KITTEN to get them out! Why strain your back moving the couch, Kritter? Just get a kitten. Or six.

That's OK, I will move the couch. I have to separate the dust bunnies from the rubber balls anyway.

When I got Bubby she used to hide around and under the fridge. She'd come out covered in dust bunnies. It was great! I just brushed her off and stuffed her back under to collect more!
Well, okay, I didn't do that but I appreciated the help with the housework. When I got her desexed I asked the vet to look in her ears and he cleaned heaps of dirt out. Any dusty crevice, she'd squish herself into it. And she hadn't even been outside at that point. When we started going outside and gardening I seriously considered making her some ear muffs. She was quite the little filth magnet.
