Yes, but Kritter, I'd already been through Bubby's kittenhood, and her mummy was a feral...so I think I could have withstood the onslaught.
Certainly better than I could now that I'm lulled by the more sedate behaviour of these senior fatsies.

I'm too old, too unsteady and too grumpy to deal with kittens. I'll take a senior fatsy over a kitten. Plus that senior fatsy would be just like me.

Some of Kritter's Kittens have manners. Trixie wasn't nearly as bad a kitten as I expected her to be.

Trixie was a great kitten and I think she was less a bother because Lucy and Daisy pretty much took her over from the getgo and taught her manners and such.
Dixie had to stay in the foster bedroom isolated because of her surgery for so long that she hasn't bonded with those two like Trixie did. She engages more with Daisy now but they are usually wrastlin' instead of sleeping and hanging together. Her manners training is lacking and it shows.
She is not going to be a bad cat but it is going to take her longer to settle down. Now her main objective in life is to get in my bedroom with Kenya. I have told her that will not go well and she even got a taste of Kenya's wrath when she shot in one morning but she is still determined.

I thought the one in the collar is what made it so funny - like they need the foil because they're trying to communicate with aliens or something using the collar and the other cat to channel them.

And then the kitten bounces up and solves the problem by climbing right up to your neck and snuggling in.
