I was reading this thing the other day, "10 things people hate about cats" and one of them was that they smell. Not the litterbox, the cat itself. Now I'm probably desensitised, but even before I had a herd of cats in my house I never noticed one that smelled of anything. |

I have never known a cat that had a smell like dogs do. Or any small at all.
Maybe if they have bad breath and need a teeth cleaning but that is not their fault.

I thought about the teeth, Kritter, but cat-haters wouldn't be getting close enough to smell that. It's probably their own stinky selves they're smelling.  Apparently the internet has amplified Cat Hate because of the prevalence of cat stuff on it. The haters feel alienated. (Which is just as it should be!) |

Kritter, I notice you're posting lots of kitten pics. Are you by any chance feeling their absence in your life?
Never mind, it's Spring now and the kittens will soon be hatching. But you should probably pre-volunteer now, to make sure you don't miss out.

But you should probably pre-volunteer now, to make sure you don't miss out. The Human Society already sent out an "update your kitten availability" list as they have started getting calls to surrender pregnant moms, nursing moms, and kittens. I haven't answered yet. I would like to get Kenya straightened out before I even about heading in the kitten direction. |

This one looks just like our Princess Lucy. If she wasn't so "chubby" she would think nothing of torturing us like that. As it is, she just tries to trip us a few hundred times a day.

I am, Val, I am. We have an appointment this afternoon with another vet for a second opinion and hopefully, an answer.
At the very least, some advice on the supplement dosage if they think it is worth a try.
Good thing I am building up the foster fund with sales this month.
