And here she is as a kitten. She was an only-one and tragically orphaned at six weeks. It's lucky I didn't have her then or I would have been unable to deny her anything and she would have ended up even more spoilt and naughty than she is, lol.  |

Kewpie says thanks for all the birthday wishes, or she would if she wasn't running around the house like a mad thing. (It's 5am.)
She's actually looking pretty good this year, last summer she was a wreck because the flea poison wasn't working. She lost a lot of her under-fur and got a rash on the rims of her eyes, poor darling.

lol, fashion, I thought it was time to give Kritter and Shirley a break with the pics.
I wish she could hear you all. She LOVES strangers and loves to be told how beautiful she is. No, really, she perks up when she hears the word. We were on our way to the vet once because she was in low spirits and we got stopped for a random breath test. The cop looked in the car and said, "Beautiful cat", and Kewpie sat up straight and rubbed her face against the wire of the cage.
I swear she knows it's her day of entitlement because she keeps hanging around and looking at me expectantly.

The police can just randomly stop people who are driving along minding their own business and make them take a breath test?

Wait, what is this random breath test thing? The police can just randomly stop people who are driving along minding their own business and make them take a breath test? Yes? Don't you have it too? They ask what you've had to drink and if you've had anything in the last half hour you have to sit there for 30 mins until they can test you. If you look dodgy they can ask you to put a papery thing in your mouth for a drug test too. I'm sure you can refuse but then they probably haul you off to the police station for a test on the big machine. The bit I object to is that while one cop does the breath test the other one walks around the car looking for unroadworthy things. |
