And they do. This is what is left of a scratching post that Aunt Tabby sent my herd several years ago. I have replaced the sisal rope once but I think it is beyond repair now. It is actually down to the wood in most of the carpeted places.  |

It was a pretty obvious shape!  |

The many cats that have passed through this house since FedEx delivered it have loved it to pieces.
I have tried to find another one like it but the ones that I have researched don't appear to be as well made. Thats why I went the sisal replacement a year or two ago.
I got a pole saw via FedEx a few days ago and Walmart did an excellent packing job. The thing is 8'long and then has the saw and pruner attachment at the end for another 2'.
Since I don't have my truck anymore, I am ordering big bulky things on line and having them shipped using the Free Shipping option instead of pickup at the store.

 Thanks Kritter I love that one. All the dang cats can be sound asleep but the second I go in the bathroom they are all at the door like that and want to come in. They might be mostly girls but they are all a bunch of Peeping Toms.

Since I live by myself, I don't close the door so they all come trooping in one or two at a time.
I guess they think they might miss something.
