Anyone watch American Crime?
Can't wait for the new season to start tonight.
Last season was so well written and I have high hopes for this season too.

American Crime is on my list of shows I want to watch. I looked and found it on Hulu but only season 2. So I started Wayward Pines on Hulu instead. Last week I watched Fargo and it was awesome! Definitely in my top fave shows but now I can't find season 2 anywhere unless I pay for it.

Selfish, AC's seasons are stand alone stories so you can watch season 2 without seeing season 1.
It's the same core group of actors, but a totally different story each season.

Ooo Sundance, love this video. Thank you! I especially loved seeing James Cagney as a hoofer and my favorite dancer, Gene Kelly.

They pop up on assorted boards based on how long your post is. We try to change them out by season and/or holiday.

Anyone planning on going to see Pride and Prejudice and Zombies?
They are both things I like and I think it will be fun to see just for the absurdity of it all.

I love P&P but hate zombies, so no, I won't be seeing it. I've had the book here for years, somewhere...someone gave it to me.

I'm going to get the book, it is right up my alley.
I need a zombie fix, Walking Dead doesn't start up again until the 14th and I've been in zombie withdrawal. I got so desperate I even watched the awful 6 episodes of Fear the Walking Dead. The zombies in that were more lively then the acting of the main characters.

What network is the Lucifer copy show on?
I was caught up on all my regular shows (what's with going 2-3 weeks between new episodes? so annoying!) so I watched the first episode of Super Girl. I think the cat and I will watch a few more episodes tonight.
And no, JImmy Olson all grown up has nothing to do with it. Nope. That eye candy has zilch to do with it.

Lucifer is on Mondays on Fox. It's on at 8 here, don't know about up where you are. The yummy Tom Ellis.

I watched the pilot of Lucifer and, while entertaining, wasn't enthralling enough to watch further episodes. Plus Tom Ellis doesn't do it for me as Lucifer. I keep remembering how goofy he was in Miranda. I predict it won't go for more than one season.
BTW Shirley and MissP, I watched Willy Wonka with Gene Wilder last night. I prefer the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp version.

Sacrilege!! Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka was one of his best roles.
I agree that Lucifer will probably only go one season, but while it's on I will enjoy watching Tom Ellis.

I agree Fear the walking dead isn't that great. It wasn't bad when I watched it on AMC for the first time but I tried to do a rewatch just recently and couldn't even finish all 6 episodes. It was boring. Where as with TWD I can watch it over and over and over.lol. I did however like one of the scenes quite a bit on the 2nd go around-the scene where Chris was on the roof talking into the camera and he sees the light in the house up on the hill. That whole scene is awesome not sure why the rest of the show can't be better like that. I also don't like that Daniel guy! Maybe next season will be better.

FTWD has it's moments, and that roof scene was one of them. I will probably watch the next season, I do like that it gives more of the backstory of the outbreak and how they tried and failed so miserably to contain it. It was interesting to see how the countries infrastructure started failing and how people reacted.

BTW Shirley and MissP, I watched Willy Wonka with Gene Wilder last night. I prefer the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp version. That Tom Ellis, who I've never seen before, doesn't look like my idea of Lucifer. Too clean-cut for one thing. I boggle at how they can make an unshaven guy look clean-cut, but that's tv for ya. Dare I say American tv? Lucifer should look beautiful but dissipated. Titus, re Willy Wonka: I'm sorry to say it, but you're wrong. Just wrong wrong wrong. That was one of Depp's worst roles. A good caricature of creepy Michael Jackson, but not a good Willy Wonka. And the rest of the movie didn't bring anything new IMO. All the other characters, the scenery, were just updated copies of the originals. I think there would have been a moment of panic when Depp and Burton signed their contracts then looked at the original and thought, "Jeez, we really can't top that." I didn't realise how passionate I am on this topic until now. lol.

The best portrayal of Satan/Lucifer will always be Gabriel Byrne in End of Days. He was evil but also devilishly sexy.
We'll have to agree to disagree about Willy Wonka. I preferred Charley and the Oompa Loompas in the Tim Burton version.

Yeah, Charlie was all right, but wasn't it just one Oompa Loompa over and over? Instead of a variety of Oompa Loompas?

Does anyone watch "The Profit" on CNBC? The "240 Sweet" episode tonight was outrageous. Yup, watch the Profit all the time. He is awesome. Saw this one before. Can you imagine having them as partners? What awful people. His description of "toxic" was perfect! Just another reason to be happy that most of us work for ourselves!
