Since I moved the current cat trees into the foster bedroom for the Ragdolls, the cat trees that have been sitting by my front door in their shipping boxes since right before Christmas were up for assembly. Today was finally going to be the day!!!!! We'll just sit over here on the couch and watch the birds and stay out of the way.

I think these beds must be smaller than our other cat tree beds are.

Daisy from Quality Control examines the base for stability. Are you sure this is level because it feels kinda wobbly?

Tanji, you have too much junk in your trunk for this cat tree bed. Daisy, its my turn now to be top cat.

We need a break. Cat tree building is exhausting. Done!!!!! I miss those boxes by my front door now.

Those are great cat trees. Lots of perch, sleep and play spots. It was so nice of them to 'help' you.

They are pretty sturdy and put up with a lot of punishment from these wreckers.
I always cruise for them on sale and buy them when I find them cheap.

You have gorgeous cats. Daisy looks like quite a handful.
Is that your blind guy at the bottom right of the last pic? He is the same size and coloring of my one eyed guy, only mine has long hair instead of short.

Thank you.
Yes, Daisy is my problem child. She has no boundaries at all and no regrets or shame.
Yes, that kitty is Lucy, my blind girl. She is also the one "looking" up at Daisy in the 3rd from the bottom pic.
Tanji, the long haired orange and white one in all the pics is my kitteh with 3 legs. He is missing his left front leg.

It always amazes me how well they adapt when they get a disability like that.
Hey, do you have 2 orange cats or 3? I see one in some pics laying on the rug by the doorway, but it never seems to move. Statue or just lazy?

That's awesome! AND It totally reminds me: I FOUND YOUR PURSE TODAY! Well, I didn't find it because it wasn't missing. I was sorting thru a "to list" bin that is right next to my desk. I saw the purse and thought "DOH"! I will get it out to you on Monday

Where did you get the trees, kritter? They look really stable. I like the 3 legs/poles/support posts.

That is a statue. LOL But I do have 3 orange and white ones. The one who you will never see is Augie, the feral guy. Thanks, Liz, I had totally forgot about the purse but I still want it.

They are made by Armarkat. I got a couple on Amazon when they had an amazing sale right before last Christmas.
I have also bought them direct from Wayfair when they had a sale.
If I see them on sale, I will let you know.
They are really stable. Daisy will hit it at a dead run from the ground all the way to the top level. It may rock a little but has never gone over.

Ah, ok. I thought you had 3 but that one in the pic just didn't move. But I figured if you counted statues then you would have 187 cats.

187 is probably a low count.
My cats have always loved their cat trees. There is always one or two of them lounging on them.
After the cat trees, the track ball toys are their favorite. Blind Lucy is the current trackball champ and has held the title for several months.

What is it with cats and the trackballs? I have the same one that is in your pics and Bitty has claimed it as hers. She sits/sleeps in the middle of it and growls if anyone else gets close cause it is 'her' toy. I just put a new scratching center in it and they all want to have at it, but she really likes that dang thing and won't let them near it. Luckily I have a couple of smaller ones that she lets the other cats play with. I think Bitty is going to turn out like your Daisy.

OH Lord, buckle up, you are in for a ride if you have a "Daisy".
I have 5 of the bigger trackball things just to keep the peace around here. Lucy plays the most with it but Daisy and Dori covet them too.

Great set-up with the trees, Kritter. Now you have Feline Disneyland inside of your house, as well as outside! And, of course, it's always interesting to see Daisy in action....

My cats use the trackball occasionally. They're more into fetching and chasing feather toys, but the trackball keeps them busy when their hoomanz don't have free hands.

So I should get my guy a track ball thingie? I think most cats like them, and it does keep them busy and active. If you get one I would get the big one that has a circle of scratching stuff in the middle. That way they get in scratching and chasing all in one toy. They look like this and are called turbo scratchers:

LOL Yes, Tabby, it seems like the transition from a regular house to a cat comfort house has now caught up with the yard.
LOL Great smileys too.
My guys love the trackball and all my fosters have used it too not only for the ball action but the cardboard scratcher in the middle.
Does Hootie play with toys?
Yes, definitely the Turbo Scratcher.

I just purchased a turbo scratcher this moment - I actually chose the one featured above after looking at a couple of them. Glad I got the recommended model!

One thing I really like about them is you can replace the center scratching part.
The replacements come in a 2 pack and you just pop them in and out.
And the plastic part is easy to wash and clean for when someone hurks a huge juicy hairball in the track.
