A mustard shortage in our house would be an EMERGENCY. I will be stocking up on a few extra bottles of regular yellow and Dijon this weekend. We are mustard lovers and go thru a lot of it.

I went on Amazon and price shopped for Guldens. Couldn’t get my foundation at Target and wasn’t going to drive all over so I got it on Amazon.
I am well stocked now until his next bonus comes. Only thing I will need is odds and ends, starting my diet when I get back from vacation in July.

I ordered my no salt added mustard from Whole Foods this morning. They delivered it this afternoon. It expired two months ago.

Geez Val. That is one reason I did not want to buy foundation on Amazon but I am not driving all over for it.

I get expired food items quite often when I order delivery or curbside pickup. At least Whole Foods and Sprouts makes it easy to report the item online and get a refund. I ordered something frozen from HEB today and it arrived 100% melted. I don't know where they delivered from, but the item should not have melted in the amount of time it would have taken to be delivered from any of the 4 stores closest to me. The frozen item I ordered from Whole Foods today did not arrive melted, and it had double the delivery distance or more. Oh well.

Unsalted mustard sounds like a good idea. I have to watch my salt intake these days. The ONE thing that's really tough to quit - I love salty things. Right know I'm exploring Dash spice mixes.
The DH went up to the mountains to go riding - he said he just flew through Seattle, even though it was normally rush hour and said he saw hardly anyone. Same coming back. Coming up is the first sunny, warm weekend we've had in over 9 months and people have just vanished into the mountains, water, etc. I suspect plenty of people just skived off work. He did his century and is browsing around in the kitchen making his signature veggie nachoes.

I better check my mustard supply here. I purchased Sweet Baby Ray's mustard dipping sauce a few months ago to check it out because I only use their barbeque sauce for ribs or chicken on the grill. It's got a nice honey mustard taste to it, great for dipping air-fried chicken tenders or chicken nuggets. Every once in awhile I make those in the air-fryer for a quick and easy meal with french fries. I also like to put the whole kielbasa link on the grill and grill it until it's a bit crisp on the outside. Then slice it up into bite-size pieces and use the Sweet Baby Rays mustard dipping sauce with that. Makes a good appetizer. I pour the mustard sauce into a small bowl and microwave it for 10 seconds to get it sort of warm for dipping.
For regular mustard use, I like the Grey Poupon regular and the Dijon mustard they make or Guldens brand, both are sour and tangy, the only thing I will use on hot dogs. Forget French's mustard - that stuff is terrible tasting in comparison to me.

With my last Walmart order, they gave me an 18 pack of Eggland eggs that were going to expire in 2 days. I called and they sent out two 12 packs of more expensive cage-free ones.
With the order that I got 2 days ago, I had ordered two 8 oz packs of the Great Value cream cheese. They were out of it, so they substituted 4 packs of Philadelphia brand.

Our Walmart has been closed. Some type of electrical issue. A guy got zapped. Then it reopened and is closed again. No power for 2 days there. They put all the frozen stuff in refrigerated trucks. Nope. I don’t trust that the stuff didn’t thaw. There are better Walmarts than ours. Maybe I will hit one this week.
I have to figure out what to buy for the reunion. I am driving but making a stop over one night. I could make cookies but I am working the 4 days before I leave. I could take tomato pie (it is a Philly food) but it comes in a huge box and I don’t want it in my car that long.

It was most likely frozen when it left HEB but no telling where the delivery guy went between the store and your house. These delivery people apparently can score other deliveries while in route and end up all over the place.
I watched the little online delivery car coming from my Walmart towards my house and then it completely jumped off the route. Looked like it headed over to a restaurant area and then moved off in another direction before turning and coming back toward my house.

Tomato Pie is a Philly thing. It is cold pizza. Basically a thick doughy crust, sauce (Italians call it gravy) and cheese. Some places add more. This is a bit long but is the barstool sports story on it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0B8sCyWZzgo

For you mustard lovers: store.jelly.com/collections/mustardsMy favorite is the Fredericksburg Brat Haus Beer Mustard Dip. I use it like a topping on chicken, pork and sausage. It's a little easier to pour, so it does better as a sauce than regular mustard does. ALL of their products are good and quite a few of the grilling sauces are reduced or low sodium. Chap, check out penzeys.com. They have a good collection of salt free spice blends. So does Daks. As for no salt added mustard, Westbrae makes a good stoneground version, and so does Organicville. Check local stores first. I was able to get Westbrae locally everywhere until I moved to SA, which is not known for healthy eating Amazon has the highest prices, if you shop around online you can get at a much more reasonable price at many healthfood online retailers.

My preference is a plain cheese pizza (DiGiornio's Self-rising Cheese pizza is my fav). I do like a lot of cheese on it. And sometimes I eat it cold.
Thanks!

If you or your family ever come out this way ask them to bring one home. We like corropolese which is local to us.

… I love the Gevalia Frothy Mocha Latte K cups. That sounds so delicious…..I had to immediately log onto Amazon to order some! OK, I'm having my first cup of frothy mocha latte... And it's really, really good! ❤️ Nice flavor blend of coffee and chocolate - what could be better?

Hot hot hot here. My walking buddy texted at 10:30am, it was already 90 degrees, we always do 7 miles I just couldn't in that heat. Plus I am dog sitting and Nala baby is very heat sensitive so she couldn't walk with us. I just made my first purchase from Mercari, sellers seems very communicative and is mailing tomorrow so far so good. We were practicing selfies, lol. She was not very good at it. We did get a good one that I used for my Facebook profile picture.

She had the vanilla, so I bought that at first, and then discovered the chocolate. Super yummy, huh?
And I just discovered something else yummy-York peppermint patty pudding mix. OMG.

It's 83 here and very humid. Supposedly it will storm in a few hours and I really hope so! I am tired of watering all of my plants twice a day.

If it is cloudy I can take them a degree or 2 higher. Mine are getting older and get hot. The other day I switched them off. I am just getting back up to a low normal mileage now. Today I had back/flank pain. No idea why. Just that the hills were killing my back left side.
