I used to use InsurePost & they changed to Shipsaver. For awhile I continued to use them but navigating directly from the Insurepost website. Now they won't let me do that anymore. I set up an acct directly with Shipsaver & the website is quite kludje & it looks like I need to fund a minimum "deposit" of $25, in order to use the site & the insurance I purchase goes against that. I don't really want to do that, since I sometimes only buy insurance once or twice a year.
So who are you using these days?
Bonus points if they interface with Ebay, which Shipsaver does do, so I can just select the item to insure & all the data will be pre-filled. TIA.

No one using shipping insurance these day?
I did confirm with Shipsaver, that I have to make a "deposit" of a balance, that they then draw from. Minimum being $25. I really don't want to do that.
At this point my expensive sale was delivered, so it's not an issue anymore, but I'd like to know for next time.

I have used USPS, PirateShip, and U-Pic. u-pic.com/ I've never had to file an insurance claim with any company, so I don't know how they are to deal with.

I don't use insurance anymore - nothing I sell anymore is expensive enough that cookie jar insurance won't work, or I ship Fed-Ex (bicycles), and the USPS isn't really paying out on insurance anymore - it's a real farce. I suppose that's another DeJoy "innovation". I'd probably use U-Pic if I needed to, though.

Thanks guys, I had checked Pirateship, but didn't see an option for insurance. I'll have to take another look, as another expensive item just sold.

I can't remember the last time I insured anything.

I have ever insured anything. Never even crossed my mind to do it even on some pricey stuff.
