Desire - I hope you get the mess with the phone worked out - that sounds awful! Just getting a few bogus text messages annoys me. I've had the same cell phone number since 1998 and don't like the idea of having to change it, because I have the similar situation that you have of using it as verification or communication in a lot of places.
If anyone has problems with car seats/plane seats - this is the magic solution. This makes any seat a comfy chair, and you can adjust it simply by tightening or opening the air valve. It's amazing. I got one after I fell off the ladder a few years ago and my hips and lower back were one heaping flaming mess, on the recommendation of the amazing physical therapist who assisted me in walking again. It has paid for itself many times. AND, it is made in the USA! I'm no longer a heaping flaming mess (though pretty creaky) and still use it in the car, and it makes long car trips (which I normally hate) bearable.

Major rain storms last evening but they blew over in 2 hours. A lot of rain, lightening and thunder. Waiting for the sidewalks to dry so I can go out walking.
Enjoying the weather and hope it sticks around. It is cooler today but supposed to be back in the 60s most of the week.

If this kind of thing interests you, I'd recommend the Youtube channel called "Adventures with Purpose". They are a dive team that relies entirely on donations and Youtube revenue to help locate and find missing persons in bodies of water. They do not charge the families who seek their assistance and have recovered something like 19 people in 3 years or so. Many times when people are in these bodies of water in rural areas the local authorities just don't have the resources or skills needed to dive in these rivers, lakes, etc. I really enjoy their videos and they go above and beyond to be respectful to any remains that are found - nothing is ever shown in the videos, remains are treated with care, and the families are given a lot of compassion.

Wish that I liked to tidy up and decorate as much as you do Val. My mom was the same way but I didn't inherit that gene I guess. I'm hopelessly addicted to ordering Color Street nails and need to stop looking at them on Pinterest and google because it leads to a purchase every time. Also purchased a sunhat on Amazon that I'm excited about. I've never been able to find a hat the properly fits my head. Finally searched sunhats for large heads and purchased a 3XL... it's a bit big but I like it. Seems like there would be a market for plus size hats somewhere on line but I didn't see many options at all.

I have one in the back of my closet if you need one. Pretty sure it works but will check it out if you want it.

Wish that I liked to tidy up and decorate as much as you do Val. My mom was the same way but I didn't inherit that gene I guess. LOL! It's only a twice a year thing, and mainly on the patio - Christmas, and the rest of the year The patio is the only real "view" I have in this apartment so I'm more inclined to fix this one up a little more than I usually do. I see all the cute seasonal indoor and outdoor decore stuff and some times think it would be cool to switch up, but then I remember a) I like my regular stuff, b) one has to store all that junk the rest of the year, and c) it's a lot of work, all that changing out by holiday. I'm lazy. Some years, though, I do switch out the flowers for fall leaves in October. And "tidy up"? Not here. I dust when the cats start sneezing and vaccum when the dust bunnies are big enough for the cats to chase. OK, I'm not quite that bad, but I'm not overly zealous about cleaning either. I want the leaf blower because it's easier than sweeping (told 'ya I was lazy). I'm considering getting some red/white/blue patio lights for the summer, and to compliment my Beto For Governor yard sign, assuming I figure out to hang it on my balcony

One of my most favorite things about spring is the crocuses popping!

I found a long enough tension curtain rod for the patio. It comes in black or white. The white option gave me an idea. I measured the area between the "office" area and the living room, and I think the curtain rod would work there too. I could hang some lightweight white or pastel color curtains on it, pull them out when I'm on a zoom call, and pull them to one end when I want the room opened up. Zoom problem solved! I found a canvas art piece I like for the bedroom, which then necessitated finding a home for the wall hanging that would have to be moved. That then made me switch around some artwork in the living room and office, and found a better home for several pieces. Which then led to me rearranging the closet so I could finally store the boxed up Christmas decorations and get them out of the living room. It would be nice if I would get equally motivated to do a full spring cleaning but that isn't happening Well, not today anyway. Maybe next weekend.

Today Pennsylvania State Police lost two troopers and a family also suffered a loss. One trooper was a volunteer fire chief in my area. I used to volunteer with that fire company on their ambulance. Waiting for the name of the second trooper.

The local trooper’s wife is due in July and his father is a county sheriff.

What I am going through at 56 I cannot even imagine going though in my late 20's or early 30's and pregnant. My heart breaks for her, for all their families.
