Personally, I prefer the lighter anesthesia. The heavy one, that puts you to sleep for invasive surgery, makes me sick as a dog afterwards. I signed up for a free trial of Apple TV. I'll probably let it renew for one month, so I can watch the rest of the episodes of The Morning Show, but then I'm cancelling it. I looked at about a dozen movie titles last night, along with several TV series, and Apple wanted to charge me an additional fee for every single one. Um, if I'm paying a monthly subscription fee, WTH am I also being charged extra to watch something on the channel that I'm already paying for monthly? Sorry, Apple, but you have a lot of good competition out there that doesn't charge me extra to watch shows.

I swear it's always something around here.
On Wednesday of last week we heard something in the oven/stove area that sounded like the dreaded mice. I HATE mice. I hate them. They are second only to snakes. They disgust me.
Friday I turn on the oven to cook dinner and the smell. Oh dear Lord the smell. It was 22 degree out and we had to turn on fans and open the windows.
Yesterday, we take the oven apart (its a gas oven) to discover a mouse NEST beside the gas line area. I am horrified. I have mouse traps set everywhere now. Unfortunately, the mice have clearly been in the insulation of the oven and used it to make their nest. I am freaking out. Some suggest that if the mice have gotten into the insulation, and used it as their personal bathroom, you will never rid it of the smell.
I am seriously thinking of getting a new oven once I am sure I have rid my home of those nasty little A**holes.

Oh my, Pyrex, that's truly gross. I can't imagine the smell, either and really don't want to imagine it, either. At least when the ignitor broke in my stove, there was nothing inside that wasn't supposed to be there. I hope you kill all the little buggers ASAP.

I think the lighter anesthesia is safer, too.
Prime ticks me off, too. Prime video is a benefit of Prime, but the majority of the videos we wanted to watch were not free. Many series charged per episode, so it could end up being $26 to $74 per season. No thanks. I was able to get quite a few through my library.

That sucks Pyrex! Once they're gone, I hope they're gone for good.
We're getting HBO max for free with Cricket Wireless. We've had cricket for I think 3 years and only had one issue with no/bad service when we went up to Pinetop-lakeside. We're paying $90 a month total for both of us. Makes so mad that I paid so much to AT&T for so many years.
Not sure what I'm paying for Discovery Plus and I don't care, love some the shows they offer.

When I was a kid we had a cabin at the beach and were there spending spring break week. I'll never forget the odor when mom turned on the oven to bake muffins and apparently we had mice living in the stove somewhere. The worst part was that since it was a beach cabin in Oregon, we didn't have tons of windows to open so the odor hung around for days Hadn't thought about that for years
