Another sunny warm day on tap here (74), then the cold front moves in overnight and we're back to chilly for a few days. I bet I know where Kritter will be today! I need to so some outdoor things myself on the patio so I think I'll flip today's schedule with Sunday and be outside today, inside Sunday Lately when I've done searches online, I get flipped over to Bing search, which sucks. Anyone have any idea why or what I might be doing to result in me being on Bing search? Same weather here, and they are saying when the front comes through tomorrow it will get windy and drop into the 40s
I've been steaming all day and getting ready for a photo session tomorrow. Other than a trip to Kroger in the early morning I'll be photographing most of the day. Then we are going to the Goodwill Sunday, and picking up some Mexican food after. Then a margarita nap and a movie
Monday I have my booster and hopefully I won't feel ill after, we have an appointment to see mom Wed, and it will have been 2 weeks by then, I know she misses out visits and the goodies we bring. I didn't have any reaction to the first two shots, but I guess you never know.

I think that it was on this thread that the FRP was being talked about. Apparently, they can be ordered again.

Val, if you've suddenly started being redirected to Bing, you might want to read this. www.pcrisk.com/removal-guides/9633-bing-com-redirectWe had a beautiful day today with even some filtered sunshine, low 50s, just about perfect for outdoor fun. The DH finally got outside for a bike ride where he wasn't drenched, and I checked out some trails north of my house that I didn't know about. Really nice day for a little hike - the trails were quite steep in places and I haven't been doing much climbing since I sprained my hip last month, so I was huffing along. The filtered sun draped the mist caught in the trees and it was just beautiful. My cousin, myself and a mutual friend want to go out on a short hike together and wondered about this one - since I live the closest I said I would check it out.

Three day weekend for me! Normally at the office, we would work on MLK Day, Presidents Day, Columbus Day and Veterans Day, and "use" those days to take off for Black Friday and extra days at Christmas instead. The Sr partner apparently made some noises awhile back about the office being closed the week between Christmas and New Years, so the Jr partner asked him about it for this year. Not only did Sr agree to close the office that whole week, he also told us we don't have to "save" those holidays any longer and can take them off as well. Woo hoo! So we get our usual 6 days plus the above holidays, and the week between Christmas & New Years. I'm back to being a part-time contractor so I won't get paid for those days, but that's OK with me as it also means no having to check messages, reply to emails or take phone calls from clients on those holidays. I'll probably work an hour or two each day of the weekend anyway, but I can get a lot done in that hour or two when I don't have to bother with clients contacting me. I'm a happy camper

LOL. Our snow is supposed to start tomorrow at 1 and we are supposed to get 8-12". My friend's son is a mgr at Sam's and posted a video of the longggggg lines. He has been there for 3 years and this is the worst that it has ever been. Lots of TP being purchased! I feel sorry for the guy with only 1 item in his cart with 20 people ahead of him.

Nice and cold out today, just like...winter! We're expecting the nor'easter tomorrow, so snow. I'm settled inside with the heat turned off as much as possible (radiator) and the window cracked open. In a sweater. Just perfect. Not looking forward to climbing up the snow hills at the crosswalks, after the plows come through. But, after all, it's winter.

In a sweater. Just perfect. Not looking forward to climbing up the snow hills at the crosswalks, after the plows come through. But, after all, it's winter. It's freezing here today too. It was 5 degrees when I got up this morning, now it's 14 degrees, so some improvement. Our ceramic tile floors are like stepping on ice. Are we getting another snowstorm??? If it's hitting NY we will probably get it too. I did groceries yesterday so I'm settled inside too, but I have the heat on high. If I cracked a window open in here, we'd freeze ourselves out in about 5 minutes. I know that the steam heat is very hot at times, we lived with it for a few years. But I'm done with worrying about the oil consumption here. I figured if we have to pay for one extra tank of oil, we need to just do it. I can't stand it if it's cold and drafty in here. Besides the main oil heating system, I also have a space heater on that's cracking the electric bill. Just filled the bird feeders for the birds earlier. Woodpeckers, bluejays, northern cardinals, sparrows, chickadees, and other winter birds seem to be starving. What a show they put on. Love watching them fly all over the place, then back and forth to the feeders.

Sad and difficult afternoon. I was napping and hubby woke me up. The Lab in my avatar collapsed. I checked him out and we took him to the emergency vet. Hemangiosarcoma of the spleen. It ruptured. They could have operated but he was almost 11. Vet said most only last 4 months after emergency surgery. We decided to let him die in peace. He was my best walking partner. We will miss him. RIP Patton.

Anyone playing Wordle? I just watched a recording of Jimmy Fallon and he was playing it. So I had to try it. Got today's word in 4 tries! I still maybe have a brain!

Wordle seems to be the new big thing. It's so popular on Twitter that I had to put Wordle on my block list because my timeline was too full of people posting their daily results.

(((Labby & family))) I'm so sorry about Patton. It's so heartbreaking. Our 12 year old lab had the exact same thing. I had to talk DH out of opting for an operation. Sometimes it's just best to let go no matter how hard it is.

So sorry Labby. We had an English setter who had a tumor on her spleen, would have periodic bleeds where she got extremely weak, and the vet would have to pump her full of prednisone. She would do good for awhile then it would happen again. Then the final one where she couldn't make it and we had to let her go. It's such a hard situation when they go, try to find comfort in your other pups.

Thanks everyone. It is hard because I have 3 Labs over 10 and we knew this was coming as far as losing them any time. We have pet insurance but had made our minds up not to do surgery on cancer at this age.

Denise, I've been playing Wordle for about a week. I like it! Got today's in 3 tries! Good thing that it is only one word a day.
I have been addicted to Word Chums for 4 years and play with 40 people daily. Much more fun than Words with Friends.
Candy Crush is another story since I am stuck on a hard level at 2349.
