I should know this, but I don't remember. Rates go up I think midnight tonight. Whatever, on the 9th. If I print the labels on items today & don't ship till Monday, am I ok? Or will my buyer get postage due? I thought it was based on the date you bought the label or is it the date you put on the label? B/C yesterday I printed a label with Monday's date (even tho' I mailed it today) & it cost the extra 20cents. So I bought it BEFORE the rate increase but the date on the label was for AFTER the increase. I'm confusing myself

I can’t answer your specific questions, but your package would not arrive postage due. If for some strange chance the packages had a discrepancy found, you would be billed, not the recipient. Happy New Year Zoe, hope that helps ease your mind.

My guess is that the postage is charged based on the shipping date, as evidenced by the one you purchased Friday but dated for this Monday, after the price hike goes into effect.

Actually, if that's the case, the ship date will default to Monday now anyway, I thought. But no, the default for printing is still Saturday. I guess I'll just play it safe & order with Monday's date.
