Your point? Did he DESERVE to die because he didn't get a shot with unknown after effects, that doesn't stop you from getting the virus anyway? Was it NECESSARY to mention his personal choices, as if you know his reasons? Do you know if he had other medical issues? Do you KNOW what he actually died from? Geeesh............. Can't people just appreciate him for his talent?
I know, I know.............. comment removed.
He didn't deserve to die, but he made stupid choices and wanted other people to make stupid choices. The 'unknown after effects' of a well tested vaccine based on proven medical science are nothing like the known after effects of a vulnerable person catching Covid. Or anyone. His choice - his consequences and since he's a celebrity, it's going to be talked about - also his choice.

His choice - his consequences and since he's a celebrity, it's going to be talked about - also his choice. Well, I agree with everything, except that IDK if he wanted others to make "stupid choices". It sounds like it was his personal choice & not one he went around espousing AFAIK. I know several dr's, who are NOT conservative who choose not to get the vaccine for a variety of reasons. I don't judge them. Well, I try not to anyway. They have the right to choose what to put in their bodies. It was his own decision to make & he suffered the consequences of the decision he made. Also, FWIW, it has not been confirmed that he had COVID, nor that that's what he died of. It's certainly possible, as his daughter had said a number of vaxxed family members have tested positive, but it's speculation that he died of it. On another note...what's the best safeword? Meatloaf. Cuz I would do anything for love, but I won't do that

Definitely there are fitness fanatics and new age types who won't vax, either, there are people who can't. Some, particularly in the black community, are wary because of trust issues. That some have made it into a political issue has more to do with their own fragility and identity politics than the fact that people make the choice for all sorts of reasons. I just think choices have consequences and if made by adults, they're going to have to deal with them. Viri, vaccines, etc. are apolitical. AMAF, I'm more annoyed by people who won't wear masks because that affects the people around them.

RIP Charles Entenmann thank you for all the wonderful cakes & pastries your company makes.

I used to love Entenmanns little chocolate chip cookies and chocolate iced cake. No wonder the brand isn't the same-they were sold. All I see in the store now are the chocolate donuts, but looks like they sell snack cakes too. An isle I dare not go down.

Related and yet not related - the company that now owns Entenmanns - Bimbo Bakeries USA - sucks. They have quite the little scam going with their "distribution" agreements. We wouldn't have caught on to it had we not had 3 new clients come in, each about 2 years apart, who pretty much went bankrupt because of Bimbo's "distribution" deal. It was a total luck of the draw that those 3 clients came in when they did, but then, ABQ isn't all that big of a city either. We had a 4th client come in to discuss taxes and mentioned what a good deal they'd been offered by Bimbo but it seemed to good to be true - we told them it was and gave them an earful. They declined the distributorship. I boycott their brands whenever possible. bimbobakeriesusa.com/our-brands

What a shock! I had no idea. I saw a headline, but the way it read, he met a young kid to fulfill a wish 3 days before he died & I thought it was the kid who died. Like a make-a-wish scenario. Can't say I'm a big fan of the band, but TH was a really good guy

Taylor Hawkins had 10 substances in his system when he died, officials say
Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins had 10 different substances in his system when he died, Colombia's attorney general said Saturday in a statement. Hawkins, 50, was found dead in his hotel room in Bogotá on Friday night, shortly before the band was set to perform in the capital city.
Among the drugs found by a urine toxicological test performed by officials were marijuana, opioids, tricyclic antidepressants and benzodiazepines, the statement said. An exact cause of death was not announced, and the National Institute of Forensic Medicine continues to investigate, the attorney general said.

I'm not sure your point. He's a rock star, that's par for the course. Honestly, most Americans have 3-5 at any given time in their system too, esp if they're partying or at a concert.

If there is a point, it would be that it is too bad that so many talented people throw their talent away.
Such a loss to their fans and their family.

If there is a point, it would be that it is too bad that so many talented people throw their talent away. Such a loss to their fans and their family. IDK that he threw his talent away, as he was on tour, when this tragedy happened, but I agree it is a great loss to everyone. I'm not a big FF fan, but I listen to a daily metal show that he was frequently on & I can say with certainty that he was much loved, very approachable for his fans & a big family & pets guy (like several of the Foos are), they were going to be doing a benefit in CA for a local animal shelter next month. He was one of the 'rock stars' that really was a regular guy & super kind & friendly. It's so very, very sad & I think he has 3 kids :-( I also know they regularly played benefits for Ronnie James Dio's Cancer Fund, sometimes spur of the moment - one time Dave Grohl was driving by a local park in his 'hood, on the way to the grocery store & happened to see a bunch of people milling around, including aforementioned radio host, stopped to ask what was going on & it was a Dio cancer fund concert & Dave went to the grocery store, then offered to come back & play for the concert that night. They are all just really likeable guys! Wish I could get into their music more.

I LOVED her as Mrs. Costanza. I can hear her now in "The Contest":
"I go out for a quart of milk and come home to find my son treating his body like it was an aMUSEment park".
RIP, Estelle.
