Prayers for all those affected by the storms and tornadoes. I read a couple nursing homes, one in AR, were also hit by tornadoes.
Nothing besides rain here earlier, but temps will go from 60s to 30s by sunset and we're getting high winds, possible power outages and maybe sleet/snow. DH & SIL went down to Columbus that's already under high wind advisory so hope they come back safe before it gets bad up here.

Raining here but 60 degrees. We had 4 VERY loud cracks of lightning/thunder last night.

I like bad weather but tornadoes are horrible things - I hope everyone stays safe!
The squall blew through and I awoke to sunshine outside, but the winds are picking up again and black clouds are coming this way and more squalls. The DH is running around doing yard work and I'm about to start photo'ing again for work while we have some light - gotta use this bit of sun!

My flight tomorrow is at 7:00 a.m. I logged in to get my boarding pass this morning at 7:03, 3 minutes after it opened. I'm B47. It looks like a full flight and I'll probably be stuck sitting next to someone. Ugh. Hopefully I won't be stuck in a middle seat. I was so hoping for a not full flight, but given it's Monday, it's the first flight out of SA and it's going to Dallas (where I have to change planes), I should have known it would be full. Oh well. At least I won't have any carry-on luggage so I won't have to settle for whatever storage space I can find.

We made it through ok. Not as bad as I thought but some banging trash cans, etc. Hubby has to put the head back on one of those wired Christmas lawn ornaments. I put the trash cans down to try to keep them from flying away. All good.

Val, if you check what type of plane you're flying on, you can google seating chart to see where you'll be. I did a quick check for Southwest and American and, unfortunately, B seats are middle seats.
We got lucky with the weather, too, and just has some wind but nothing major around us. There were lots of power outages in other areas. We're also lucky we're having a week of above average temps in the 50s until end of the week when we're back to the 30s and probably get some white stuff.

Pretty sure Val is going Southwest and the B stands for the boarding group that she is in. There are no seat assignments on Southwest.

We were always in B group and there were plenty of seats to choose from, but we were usually around B10-15.

Anyone having issues accessing Poshmark? All of a sudden yesterday my anti-virus has decided that Poshmark is not safe and I cannot visit it. I am not sure what in the world to do. I cannot change or delete the antivirus software I have as it is required since I use my personal device to remote into my work computer. Any ideas?

I did a quick check for Southwest and American and, unfortunately, B seats are middle seats. The B47 isn't my seat, it's my boarding pass, or place in line. Southwest doesn't assign seats, just your place in the boarding process. Groups 1&2 in A go first, then B group 1 (boarding pass #s B1-B30), then I'm the 4th group. I made a mistake though. B47 is just for the first leg, SA to Houston (I thought it was Dallas but that's the return flight). That explains why the flight is so full - I'm betting it will be mostly business travelers. My flight from HOU to ABQ, I have boarding pass B5. Much better and I suspect that flight might be less crowded unless it continues to Vegas, then all bets are off (no pun intended LOL). Thank goodness everyone is required to wear a mask at the airport and on the plane. 😷

I can get it, but for the last few days they have asked my ID and sometimes I have the dumb captcha thing to fill out. But I have changed from Edge to FF and thought that was why.

Val, at least if you do wind up in a crappy seat it won't be long. I know if we fly again, we won't be checking a bag even if it's free (which they usually aren't unless you upgrade). Last time we flew to Las Vegas the line to check bags at both Columbus, OH and Las Vegas were ridiculously long. I don't know why you don't like McCarran. We never had a problem and it's pretty neat having option to play slots if you have to wait for a flight.
I hate Columbus airport, which we always had to drive down to use because BIL was paying for the flight and supposedly it was "easier" than Cleveland Hopkins (yeah, easier for them because they didn't have to drive over 2 hours to get there). Last time, DH and I were directed to which checkpoint line to go through (which, of course, was insanely long). We waited patiently, finally got to the check in part and another employee bitched at us because we were supposed to go to the pre-flight (or whatever it's called) line to skip the main line we were in like it was our fault. Another time, I got poked like the Pillsbury Doughboy by a female TSA agent who thought she "saw something" on the x-ray. I gained a few pounds, yeah, it's called fat, bitch. That's what I wanted to say to her but didn't.

I didn't want to check a bag, but I'm bringing goodie gift bags and a secret santa gift, and it's stuff that isn't allowed in carry-on. Well, technically it is (shower gel, lotion, etc) but the quantity I have is over the carry-on limit. Oops! I hate layovers at McCarran. It's a crowded, loud, dirty airport. It's way too small for the volume of traffic it handles (well, pre-COVID anyway). My return flight has one stop but no plane change. There aren't many direct flights to anywhere these days it seems, on any airline.

I hope you have a smooth, uneventful flight going and returning and a great time while you're gone!
p.s. it doesn't hurt to put stuff in Ziplocs in case your checked luggage gets squished.

pyrexandpearls yes, I am having the same problem. I thought it was my password being too simple so I changed it to one they assigned which is supposed to be more secure. It didn't fix the issue and now I don't know what my password is since it was saved in the icloud keychain (it said it would save it to all my devices) and I can't see what it is on Poshmark in account settingss. At least I was able to log in using Safari by checking the box saying it is a safe site. Now I can't use the PM app on my phone or log in on Safari on my phone. I can't change the password without knowing the current password. So whatever you do, don't change your password

I signed up and paid for that TSA pre-check. May or may not use it next summer. Depends on whether I drive or fly to Ohio.

What browser are you all using for Posh? I have tried both Edge and Chrome and no luck with either. I am seeing a lot of comments on their FB/Twitter that this seems to be impacting a large amount of users.

pyrexandpearls - Posh has been crashing on my mobile for the past several days. It's fine on my desk top (Fire Fox). Seems like a site-wide problem, then?

Oh, man - I was working with my newly repaired lever espresso machine - it's a learning curve and a bit of a transcendent experience if you love espresso as I do, so it tends to turn into a bit of an obsession. I'm already planning on changing one of the nozzles to a different steam delivery system and want a different coffee basket. Also, another coffee grinder because grinding is ESSENTIAL - I've worn out two (spendy) ones in the last 12 years and am using a cheap-o model I got from a repair shop.
So I've been pulling shots all afternoon...sampling...another shot...sampling.... OMG, I am absolutely completely wide awake and it's 12:30 a.m.

I have had problems in the past with Chrome and Edge has been a disaster lately for all sites. I would try FireFox since it is working well for me.

There aren't many direct flights to anywhere these days it seems, on any airline. There are lots, but you have to live in a city that is an airline hub, for the most part. Same as it's been since dereg. The hub & spoke system is very frustrating, unless you live in a hub. Luckily, when I traveled for a living, I lived in a hub city, so all my flights were non-stop. Soon as I moved to a non-hub, we always have to connect through Denver (UAL hub). There are some exceptions for smaller regional airlines like SW & Frontier. Just before the pandemic, we were able to fly non-stop to Vegas from here on Frontier. BTW, "direct" in airline speak means 1 stop. Only "non-stop" means no stops. Just a hint, if you're ever talking to the airline (rare these days), don't call it direct unless you want a stop Have a good trip. Was just at Mc Carran recently, no problems at all. The newer section is quite nice.

Poshmark now doesn't work at all on my phone - I uninstalled it, then found I never did uninstall it, it just disassociated from my Google account and nothing I do will retrieve that application. Since I really dislike doing business on a mobile - it feels like playing with a toy, that's OK, but I do like to be able to answer questions or do a little marketing on the road. It's no huge loss since the app had stopped working, anyway. I changed nothing, either.
