That’s easy. Mine are in boxes in the attic. One day I will have a room to put them in so I can decorate. 6 dogs makes it impossible.
Decorate the rest of your house and skip the tree. That's what I had to do. I thought a lighted twig tree would be safe, but nope - Simon figured out how to unwind the little wire lights. So into the storage room it went. I decorated with wall art, wreaths, Christmas throws (for the cats, LOL), lights and a few table top items that weren't breakable.
And lights. Lots and lots of lights on the windows and the balcony. By the time I light them up tonight, NASA should be able to see me from the Space Station.

I have begun my annual tradition of putting ribbon on my tree. First comes happiness and joy at the thought of my tree glistening with lights and ribbon. Next comes the actual task of putting the ribbon on the tree - which will be a roller coaster. There will be success and there will be words that make a sailor blush. I will futz and tinker and toy with it and then proceed to adjust the ribbon for the next month as I stare at it from my couch! LOL

New pencil tree from Amazon, tree topper is enroute. It's looks kind of tiny in the pic but it's 7 ft. Need to get more ornaments for it. I have the matching Nutcracker mouse stocking but never got around to getting it embroidered so haven't put it up yet.
Wish he'd buy me a 5 gallon bucket of paint for Christmas.
Even my patio flamingos got into the Christmas spirit
Thanks for posting that pic. I thought I spied Santa hats on them and was just about to ask.
You are so lucky to be able to decorate like that. It's been a week already and no sign of anybody cutting any branches (I was told "any day now" by apartment manager end of Nov.) so looks like no decorating our balcony again thanks to the tree rats.
