I wish they would charge at the counter when they pack the items for shipment for the client and hold up the whole line. That would speed up the line and provide revenue. UPS store charges, why shouldn't the USPS?

The padded flat rate at $9.65 is a killer. That is the one that I use the most.

I remember when the PFRE came out it cost $4.95 or $5.25. and everyone was all excited about it. It's almost doubled in price since then. Ugh!

This would be a great time for UPS or FedEx to lower prices. I bet tons of people would jump ship.
Also, I love it when they describe stuff as 'competitive', which always means, 'raising prices again'.

I don't use it often, but the Small FRB at almost $10 is ridiculous. It's the size of a VCR tape. And yet, I guarantee you there's still a customer out there who's going to ask one of us, 'why don't you just mail it in the $4.00 flat rate anywhere box'

I wonder how long Posh is going to hold the line on shipping. I'm getting priced out of business by the USPS - my items are mostly just low to mid priced stuff these days and there's only so much margin I have to exercise the capped flat rate I usually use (regional population distribution makes my corner of the lower 48 probably the most expensive to list from).

Hopefully we'll get some commonsense leadership - DeJoy and his little buddy Bloom both need to go.

I know things go up but the post office is ridiculous about the rates EVERY YEAR!
I've heard many times it's problems with the policies pensions that need to be changed and that's where a lot of the financial woes come from. But it's always the customers that have to pay the price.

There's a bipartisan bill introduced by Rep DeFazio to abolish the prefunding that had been instituted during the 2nd Bush administration (explanations as to WHY don't satisfy me) which passed in the House. However, it got stuck in the senate. Hopefully it will finally get passed, the USPS can be put on a more sound pension fund footing and resolve this insolvency problem. It's absolutely ridiculous - the USPS is actually solvent without this prefunding.
