That would be great. I'm waiting for payment on two orders now and had a non pay a week or so ago.

In the past 2 weeks I've had 2 Ebay offers that I accepted and the buyer disappeared. And naturally they were higher priced items!

Yes! There is absolutely no reason not to have this except, of course, eBay.

Yes - eBay is the only the second site I've ever sold on in the last 20+ years where the buyer can just string the seller along for simple payment. The test is being done on buyers.

I am wondering if I might have been opted into this somehow? I accepted a best offer earlier today and it was paid within 20 seconds or so. Hmm.

Believe me, if Mercari can figure out how to do it, eBay should have no problem. Mercari can't even figure out how to use decimal points in prices...it's all whole dollars.

ROFL - neither can Poshmark. But at least Posh works well.

I've scrolled past this thread so many times without reading it until tonight when I thought to myself "that's amazing that ebay is testing something before putting it into place", and then I read pyrex saying she was opted into it. So much for testing before implementing, but at least it's just select test cases I guess!

Ebay actually tests everything before putting it into production. All companies do, it's part of any IT life cycle. But, they do it poorly.
