I want to talk to ebay about my payments. They are no longer being deposited into my paypal account. Instead, without my authorization, they are now being deposited into a bank account. I want all payments to go to my paypal account. Does anyone have a phone#?

eBay is no longer using Paypal as their payment processor. All payments now go through Ebay's Managed Payments which route payments through to your bank account. Transition has been going on for 2 years or more and ebay will have all sellers transitioned by the end of this year. No ebay sellers payments will go to Paypal.

They moved almost everyone over to managed payments awhile ago. I have been on it for almost a year. PayPal isn't an option any longer. This has been announced for a couple of years now at least.

Thanks kritter and pantlandia- Do you know if(through managed payments) I can list/register my paypal account as the bank account I want my payouts to be deposited into? No, you can't. You have to supply an account with a routing and account number with a name that matches what is on your eBay account. There were some issues in that last regard where eBay wasn't accepting some accounts if there was an initial or another name. I don't know if they fixed it or not. I know on Isabella's account, she has a big red notice saying to update her info, even tho she has never had a problem getting her payouts. If you're concerned about mixing funds, you can always open an online account like Ally or Capital One. It was a change that a lot of people resisted, but eBay and PayPal's agreement ended and they moved everyone to managed payments. I have had no issues with managed payments. Yeah, you don't get your money immediately, but once you start getting deposits (you choose either daily or weekly), things start to normalize. I hope you find a solution that works for you.

You had to give them this information in order for them to be depositing the funds into that checking account where your payments are going. So many of us here had trouble with ebay not accepting our checking account for managed payments as something didn't match up, like a middle initial on the account name or a joint owner, etc. Maybe when you got the constant emails for managed payments, you filled out the info and forgot about it? They were trying to bribe a lot of us to sign up way back, offering us a 50.00 statement credit if we joined by a certain date, a 50.00 that so many of us never received despite signing up on time. I think the BS with the "not matching names" on the checking acct. was their way of getting around it, we were never technically signed up by their deadline due to their stalling BS.

This whole roll-out has been a little strange, with their super-secret managed payment boards which they shut down not long after, their refusal to give out very much advance information so people knew what they were going into until you actually got the 'sign up or else' notice, etc. etc. I'm really used to managed payments on other sites so it's no big deal, but a lot of people who had never used that type of payment scheme were feeling like they didn't have enough information to know what was going on. Finally the site produced some good graphics and clear schema - they should have done that at the outset.
