*thud* That guy must have known his pottery to not even haggle. Wow to that find. ITA & in some states there are laws that someone can go after you, if you have special knowledge. I don't remember exactly how they work, but if you have special knowledge you're required to offer a fair market value.

At first glance it looks like something you could pick up in China town for a few bucks. The finish or glaze is what must be exceptional as they describe it as silky and a lost art that can't be replicated. Along with the hand painting, of course.

I have one exactly like that but I don't want to sell it. I'm keeping paper clips in it and I don't want to have to find another container for them.
