I sent a bag in 2 weeks ago tomorrow, and nothing is showing in my account. I guess I should have taken the tracking number from the bag. I was wondering if anyone has had this happen? Is there any way to see what's going on via my account? I'm not seeing anything and I didn't get the email that the bag was on the way to them

Did you get an actual bag from them or just a label? If you got a label, you can look for the email. If you got the bag, the bag number is recorded by them so I would wait another week or so and then contact them. I have found their customer service to be very good so I think they would look for the tracking number for you to see if the post office is showing it in transit, but I don't think two weeks is all that unusual because I think it goes to a freight forwarder and they wait to forward it until they have an entire truck load.
I've had two bags not make it, and they paid out over $500 for the first one because I had a list of the items I sent, and it included some very good items. They would have paid the average amount that gets paid out per bag, which was around the $100 mark, if I had not had the list of items. The second bag I received $130ish, and then the bag turned up (at one of their other locations), and they allowed me to keep what they had paid out plus get whatever was earned from the bag itself.

They don't make it easy because it seems like you get toggled back and forth between the same pages, but try this: www.thredup.com/support There is a Search the knowledgebase box. Try typing customer service in the search box, and from the search results I selected How do I contact a specific thredup department? Click on the Customer Service link on this page, and you should get a pop up on the next screen telling you to select a topic. Scroll down and select Clean Out Bag Questions. At that point, I'm getting the question are you trying to contact support?, with an option to email. I did see somewhere that it said it could take up to 3 weeks for a bag to reach them.

Something must be choking their supply lines because I haven't been able to get a rescue box for months.

Well it was mailed 3 weeks ago this past Saturday so I finally figure out how to send an email (they don't make it easy!) we'll see what they say. Thanks!

Well this is just great the reply: Thank you for contacting thredUP support. I can confirm that it appears the bag was never sent back to us. The tracking number no longer works, so it means the label must have expired. www.fedex.com/fedextrack/no-results-found?trknbr=9202396343473434194587IF you sent it in 2/27, we suggest waiting 6 weeks from them to check with us so we can reach out to warehouse if they got it! Regards, What does that mean? The kit was sent to me on Jan 26th. I got Covid right after that and then the winter freeze so I didn't get it mailed to them until 2/27. So the label expired during that one month?

That does not make any sense. I have used labels much, much older than that. I clicked on your link and got the no record of this tracking number message, but I don't see the actual tracking number. Did they supply you with the number? If not, I would ask for it. Also, my labels have always been for USPS, not Fedex, but maybe that could vary by location?

That looks like a USPS tracking number. I ran it through the USPS tracking it says label created but not yet in system. Good luck I stopped using Thredup because of the low payouts a few years ago, had a really good run with them though and no problems like you all are having now.

Oh, I see the number in the link now, duh. That's not good that it's not showing even being picked up. The post office was pretty much through their backlog at that time, I think, so it should be showing up. jesmelric, did you drop it off at the post office or have a pickup done? Maybe check with your post office and ask them to look for it. Since it's a thredup bag, it would be easy to spot.

Maybe check with your post office and ask them to look for it. Since it's a thredup bag, it would be easy to spot. Sorry to be MIA. After I got the first response I got a survey type thing asking how the customer service rep was. And I gave 1 star and said I was unhappy with the response. And that if the label had expired it was a problem on their end because I had mailed it within one month of receiving it and why should I wait six weeks for an error on their end? And then another rep got back to me and said:
This is XXXX from thredUP support and I'm following up regarding your recent interaction with our team. I'd like to provide further context on your Bag B24K7-PPTC7. The tracking on the label has expired, as my colleague XXXX mentioned: www.fedex.com/fedextrack/no-results-found?trknbr=9202396343473434194587This typically happens if bags are older than 90 days old. I see we shipped this bag to you on 1/26/21 so it's concerning that the tracking is already expired and I've reported this to my team. At this point in time, we can offer the following options: 1. Wait for your bag to be processed. It's possible that it delivered and is in the queue, we just don't have any visibility on it. Due to processing delays, it's currently a 10 week waiting time for your bag to be processed. We would need to wait until approximately 5/22 to see if it's processed. 2. Mark the bag as lost and issue a payout based on your average bag earning. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience here. This definitely isn't the experience we want for our sellers. Please let us know how you'd like to proceed.
And so I responded that I was concerned about the expired label because I mailed it within a month of receiving the bag and that I would like to proceed with taking the bag as lost due to the long processing delay and the difficulty in contacting support.
And here was the ultimate result:
We have marked Bag B24K7-PPTC7 / #8101944 as lost in transit and issued a payout of $84.60 to your account. This is your average lifetime bag earning, as you didn't have sufficient history in the last 12 months to calculate accordingly.
The funds are available to cash out immediately. If your bag is found, we will process it and reach out to you for any payout adjustments. I'm so sorry for the trouble here once more.
Please let me know if you need any additional assistance. We're always here to help if you have any issues or questions.
So all in all I was satisfied. I had another round of stuff to go to them, I requested another bag and this time clicked the extra payment for faster processing. I guess we'll see.
