Yeah, he pretty much played up til the end & then went in his sleep. I cried, but that's sure the way I wanna go! Rev Billy says that his wishes were for the band to continue. I'm not sure how that can happen, as they were in a VERY small & elite group that has been the original members for the entire 50+ year history. It's already big shoes to fill, but with it being a threesome, the non-musical qualities that make a band work, are even more pronounced & after 50 years, the personalities are going to be hard to gel with someone else.

ETA: I saw how they are going to/did continue. His tech is stepping into his shoes. That's becoming more common, Aerosmith's Joey Kramer had his tech step in for awhile, when he couldn't play. There was a quote about Elwood taking it to the top, which I didn't understand b/c I thought he was referring to Jake & Elwood Blues, but his tech's name is Elwood, so it makes more sense now. I hope it works out.
