That explains why when I searched for Kraft Caramel Bits yesterday, the first thing that came up was almost $32. Shocked, I read the description, and it said something about 3 bags. That's still outrageously expensive (they are less than $3), and then I saw that it was a third party. Still doesn't explain the price though. Neither Walmart or Kroger had them in stock, but Meijers indicates it does so I guess if I want to make the Caramel Grape recipe, I will hit Meijer. (If you like caramel apples and grapes and haven't tried the recipe, you should--they are quite tasty.)
That kind of result is why I think it's a really bad idea for Walmart to be a marketplace. I am doing more and more on-line shopping, and I just want to know what my local store has, not what I can get if I wait a week or two for delivery. My sister bought something from Sam's Club when doing a pickup order without realizing the one item was being shipped. She was really pissed when she realized she had to pay shipping on the item, too.

I think this is one reason Shopify is getting more popular. More control over one's own brands/merchandise.

Walmart has decent search/sort filters, and you can limit what you see - 3rd party sellers, walmart.com only, available in your local store only, etc.

I actually like shopping for other vendors on Walmart better than I do on Amazon. WM isn't as junky and cluttered looking and I can tell who I'm buying from.

WM's third party marketplace is a LOT better than Amazon, I agree. It's one reason I don't like to see it cluttered.
