Isn’t there a setting to select what to delete like Chrome has? I use chrome so I am not sure.

When you clear cache in chrome you can select to keep passwords, and the like. I think Edge has a setting somewhere. That way when you log into the banking websites you are good to go unless you clear all the checked items.

Are you sure it just wasn't storing your pw's & logged you back in? That seems a far more likely scenario, esp if you opt to store your pw's.

Guess I will give up and get used to FF.

My computer guy did urge me to download the free Norton anti-virus from Comcast. I had been using Avast that he had installed for me, and I was getting warnings about my sites. But he kept telling me that it was safe. Duh.

I never allow any browser to keep any of my pw's. Just an additional safety measure.
