We won't have details until next Wednesday. I'd like to see waived store subcription fees and waived FVF (or reduced by half) for a month or two, that would help.
OTOH, one does not incur FVF if nothing sells.

I think it's a cheap, grandstanding gesture. eBay can afford to WAIVE at least one month of store subscription fees. Making the seller request the deferment tells me eBay is counting on a lot of sellers not paying attention and not requesting it, which means less $ out of eBay's pocket.
A temporary discounted FVF would be nice too, although that would help more when buyers start buying more than groceries and toilet paper.

Yeah, deferring doesn't really help anyone. They aren't going to magically have any more money in a month than they will now.

They're doing it because Etsy (who has a lot of ground to make up PR-wise) did it.
But hey, it's something, and for people on temporary furlough it may make all the difference, so I'll say good!
