For those who use it: when GDA brings in the bank data, does it automatically assign each transaction to an account? Example, item is labeled "Goodwill" on bank data, will GDA assign it to "purchases" or "inventory" for you? Or do you have to manually assign every line of data from the bank feed every time?

They have a box to check if you want all future transactions with the same name to go to the same account. I "transfer out" all of my inventory purchases since they are only deducted after they have sold. I can still see them, just not under the "expenses" tab. I usually do them manually though as I sometimes split into personal/ business. Recently they aren't showing up as Goodwill when imported from Paypal though. I just see a series of numbers so have to go into Paypal and make sure that is what they are.
I know you were just giving GW as an example. Most things like my drycleaning are automatically sent to where they go in expenses.

Anything that hasn't been assigned previously shows up in an 'uncatagorized' tab to be manually assigned. Here is a screen shot of one I just reassigned from Paypal to Goodwill / Inventory. Along with the box to check
