That is one unhappy cat.

I think it's a Scottish fold so the ears are back anyway, but it's really annoyed at something but I can't see what it is. Our tux used to get noisy and angry at raccoons and scream at them and wouldn't shut up but she sounded like an actual cat.

It sounds like there is another cat or a human making cats sounds that she is responding to.

^^^^^Or a June bug. Creeps me out hearing one of those bang against everything in the dark.

My worse are the roaches that come out of the drain and then find their way to my bedroom wall. If I don't get them with the vac or they get away from Kenya then they are loose in the dark.
Usually if it starts moving around, Kenya will drag her lazy butt out of bed and get them but there is no guarantee.

The UK is the home of the most interesting cats and cat stories. They adore cats there, so there are the moggies of the Underground, who live in the London Underground, roosting on the ticket/Oyster card machines or hang out with the station personnel - some are famous throughout London. Many shops have shop cats and pubs, of course.
Once I was on the train back to London from somewhere south, and a woman was carrying a cat carrier. Someone asked her about the cat, so she opened the carrier - a little black cat stepped delicately out - immediately a ring of people surrounded them - there were even these tough London thugs saying "Awwww...." and melting in happiness.
