I just noticed an anomaly on Posh party brands and wondered if this is something new? I have a list of saved brands which matches their list of brands given on brand-specific party details. But when I joined the party and was looking for a brand to browse I noticed a couple that weren't on the master list. Specifically it was the Zara Converse party. Express and Urban Outfitters were on the left dropdown menu within the party. Maybe I should have checked the box to see how much was listed but I didn't and the party is now over. Anyone else notice this? Do they add & drop brands? And does Vince Camuto include just plain Vince? During BOHO parties I have 50% success listing We The Free- sometimes it allows it and others it doesn't.

I don't know about the others, but Vince and Vince Camuto are separate. I have labels with both names. I have a We The Free, and put it under Free People.

That’s weird. I just looked at the party and Express and UO are not included, but there is a one listing for each in there.

I know; that's what I mean! If you look at the dropdown menu of brands to filter the feed after joining the active party there's those other brands listed. Now I'll be curious to see what's being served up tomorrow morning at the BOHO FP etc party.

I’m wondering what happens when people switch the brand to participate in the party and then switch it back.

I can't figure out those brands save for vaguely (Zara just eludes me) so I only share things that I know I have brands for (not very many). Didn't know that Vince and Vince Camuto were different brands! I always thought Vince was a bridge line - so that's good to know!

How it’s supposed to work is on the app, if you try to share to the party an item not qualified you are stopped with a pop-up.
If you share a non-qualified item to a party on the desktop it doesn’t stop you, it looks like it’s been shared just like always, but it just goes to your feed, not the party. I’m thinking it was just an error that those brands maybe were allowed, just not on the list?

I am still trying to figure out how to share suits to a posh party since there are no suit categories.

This AM it's a BOHO party. The Sak, BB Dakota and Paige are on the dropdown list but not on the allowed brands given in party details. Each has only one item listed. At least that's what I'm seeing on my feed; don't know if, like so many other sites, we all see different feeds or not.

I’m still guessing that they did the brand switcharoo to get in and changed it back. I could be wrong. A lot of people do it for Best in Tops parties. They will make their sweaters tops for the party then switch back.

But a seller couldn't tamper with the dropdown menu, right? I"m talking about the IS (in eBay speak, lol) that are along the left side, including men-women-kids-home, size, color & brands. Those are set up by Posh in the code, controling which brands are available to choose from within the party. It's not a big deal; it just caught me off guard. Now I'm watching the 9AM parties to compare brands and see if I've been missing anything I actually have. So far I've had Urban Outfitters and The Sak. Tomorrow is sporty athleisure wear which I rarely have much of. I'm just curious. :-)

You’re right and I don’t know - that was just my guess that maybe a glitch forces it into the sidebar? You’d think there would be more because I assume that people that share from the desktop just share everything to the party tab and let Poshmark distribute it to either the party or feed. You’d think a lot more would fall into the party “accidentally”.
