I literally just finished listing an EF dress on Poshmark and got this message "childres334 commented 'I'm interested in this beautiful item and I want you to text my cellphone (225)xxx-xxxx) with last asking price and I assure you that everything will go smoothly... Thanks' ". I'm not really comfortable sending her a text. I find it really unusual because the size is a petite large which is not a very common size. Has anyone ever gotten a message requesting you text them?
I did price it a bit higher than I want so could come down from $100 to $70 or $75.
ETA, she has no listings, has not sold anything in the past, has 6 followers and is following 142.

Scam - don't do it, they're trying to do an off-Posh transaction (not allowed) and I doubt anything will go smoothly. This isn't that uncommon apparently - I had one about kimono when I first started, too.

Flag the comment and make sure to reply that you only complete transactions on Poshmark. The reason for replying is that there are a lot of busy-bodies that report listings just because some scammer posted their number in a comment.

Often the scam is that they will send you a fake payment confirmation for less than your price. They will follow up with an urgent message that you need to refund them what they paid using friends and family to avoid fees and promise to remit the correct amount right away. Some lame excuse about protecting you that it can’t be done in a separate payment. Their fake payment looks believable if you aren’t a regular PayPal user. It even says that it could take up to 48 hours to show in your account. Horrible people. They don’t care about the item, they want the “refund”.

It's very odd but the comment is not showing up on the listing. It's still in my News because I haven't closed out that window. Would she have been able to delete her comment? ETA, the user name is gone also so I guess Poshmark figured it out somehow.
